They all warped horribly on my glass top. Every. Single. One. Horrible
Every pot and pan warped horribly for me. I had bought a large test pan from mauviel, which got returned for the same reason. I should've learned my lesson, but Mauviel has excellent reviews and support insisted it was a one off defective unit, which got sent back. I wanted solid copper pots so bad, but these are awful. Maybe they're ok on other types of stoves, but not glass. I'm seriously disappointed. Do not buy them, at the very least don't buy them if you have glass (not my preference in stove, but it's a rental house, so you get what you get). I'll be trying the all-clad copper core next, I suppose.

Horrible to clean, not the quality Mauviel was known for
These pans are great for boiling water. However if you want to sear food, caramelize, use fat or sugar then you are in for a terrible experience...the pans won't come clean! The fat stains the interior of the pan and the sugars scald the bottom of the pans to the point that you can't use simple baking soda and water to remove the residue. My guess is that the quality of the stainless and copper is not what the Mauviel name used to stand for. For example, there used to be 3 rivets for the handle on the pans, now there are two. The height of the lid handle has shrunk too, I can get only two fingers in it and forget about using a pot holder or towel, there is not enough top of arch to hold on to. I find it dangerous. I'm so disappointed with this purchase and not happy with their customer service. I own All Clad, Gourmet Standard and other pro cookware. I'm also a classically trained French pastry chef so I've used all types of cookware. All I can say about my experience using this set is that I'm shocked.
