I am very enthusiastic about this product! I purchased it to deal with several symptoms related to the need to elevate my head at night. This is NOT the same as getting a wedge pillow that only elevates from head to hips. This 7 inch elevation mattress wedge (which also comes in a 5 inch elevation) allows the entire body to benefit. The most prominent symptom I was having was vertigo on rising, sometimes severe. In literally the first use of this wedge, the symptoms left. I now understand that the glymphatic system of the brain (YES, with a 'g') needs to properly drain at night and if it does not, there can be difficulties. Well, mine are gone. Along with others. Please also look at "inclinedbedtherapy.com" for other things that elevation can help. I make no promises, just know what it helped for me. The photos (on a full/double size bed) show from the upper right, to lower right, across the foot of the bed, then up the left side, bottom to top. Notice how ample the size is, easily accommodating the entire mattress. I chose to put my wedge under the mattress. I suspect it will work just as well on top of yours. I am very pleased.

Just opened this mattress elevator. Expecting a chemical or plastic oder. Literature stated “may initially have slight odor.” Nope, instead a very strong oder like a bucket of day old fish. One star until I can further assess. Willing to wait to see if it dissipates. UPDATE: the smell completely dissipated! The quality of the foam wedge seems very good. It didn’t give a bit with my very heavy mattress on top. I thought it would immediately flatten under the weight. It was easy to set up and I have slept well for the past several nights. Four stars for quality and functionality.

It took me 6 weeks to off-gas the unhealthy and nasty toxic fumes of the foam in my spare room, with the window open and fan on. Don't let anyone tell you it's just an unpleasant scent. It's toxic to anyone that breathes. Now that I can actually put it in my bed I see that it's WAY too soft, so put in under my mattress and now it's made the whole thing too soft and is killing my back to sleep on it. And now after about 2 weeks of sleeping on it the side I'm sleeping on is lower than the other side. It's too late to return it and it actually cost me more than it's advertised for now. It's a total fail, sorry to say.. I'm going to buy an adjustable bed frame so that I can raise the head of the bed up. Boo.
