First of all, this is sturdier than I expected for the price. Secondly, you're going to need AT LEAST 3 people to put this together. And one of you needs to be smart to decipher the vague assembly instructions. Took about an hour to put together with 4 people.

It took me about two hours to put together by myself. I put about three pounds of gravel rocks inside each base polls.... Then placed eight pound support bags...on each poll. So far holding strong. Added outdoor lights and I have what I wanted... A place to chill in my backyard...with shade and peace.

one of the bars that was supposed to be welded together was not. I was not returning such a large item, so we made do by using zipties to hold it together. A bit frustrating because it was so expensive, but it held together. The rest of the product was just fine. I think someone let this one slip through their quality control process.

While water puddled after a bad rain storm and broke two key bars of one of the support arm,the company worked with me and was able to get replacement parts to me in a timely manner. There customer service department contacted me daily until the matter was resolved to ensure I received the correct replacement parts. Overall it's sturdier than others I've purchased at a similar price, and definitely has a strong frame with 8 supports and wider stronger corner poles. The interior has a high ceiling which is a big plus because at 5'8" I'm the shortest one in the house. The material is water resistant and dries quickly. You can adjust the tension in the roof as well which is a great feature. I would recommend it for the price but just be conscious to remove water that may pool on the canopy as soon as possible after any heavy rain storms.

I ordered the charcoal gazebo and loved everything about it. After 3 months the top outside fabric faded to purple. Summers in upstate New York aren't known for harsh conditions so I was a little disappointed with the color quality. Other than that one flaw, the frame is sturdy and the mesh screen is very durable.

This sucker sits on a raised deck in direct sun for 12 hours/day and is still waterproof. I'm buying replacement screens now (~$40 only) because they are so fragile due to UV rays. I have it strapped to the deck so it doesn't blow over and during 2 tropical storms I dropped it down by taking the lower half of the legs off and it did just fine. Strap it down properly, don't use the anchors in the box(just like experts tell you with outdoor equipment, use higher quality accessories). This is an inexpensive gazebo, it won't last forever. It did have a problem with one screw hole support falling inwards which was a pain to fix when assembling, but it's been great since.
