Nice clock. I keep it on one solid color , white. But if youre into changing rainbow of colors it does that well and is bright enough. Projection on to ceiling is nice for back sleepers. Display size is big enough for any size room. I never use alarm so cant comment on that. Im sure its a typical annoying alarm. Lol ... show more

Nice basic clock. Large dial display with time only and nice color options. YES THERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS. A previous customer might have gotten a re-pack without the book. Set up was also very easy. No focus or orientation ability for the ceiling display but if the clock is facing you, the ceiling orientation is correct. Ceiling projector is basic red. It is not changeable in brightness or color like the face. Description is not clear about that point. I was hoping for some color and brightness options as I have some outside light bleed on my ceiling, which sometimes obscures the ceiling display at night. It is clear and readable and seems to stay in focus. The ceiling display is not really different from my previous clock. There are a few other options which I have not explored but the clock seems serviceable. I like the color options on the large readable face but wanted more from the ceiling display There is a back-up battery in the back and you must pull the plastic tap to activate it. People often miss that one. I will keep it. ... show more

My mom had a clock similar to this one and I’ve been wanting one but was afraid of it being too dim like hers was but it has different settings so it’s clear and just the right brightness. The size is great bc my vision without glasses is 20/200 so I’m blind and I can see it fine. I wish it had the temperature on it but it doesn’t. The clock it self is nice. ... show more

Very nice alarm clock so far. The battery backup came into play within a couple of days of purchase and when power was restored about 9 hours later, the clock came back on with the correct time. That was a convenient feature. Setup was simple. I think it was OK to have paid a little more to get the nice colors of the night light which also provides sufficient light to move around in the middle of the night. The clock display numbers also have pleasing colors. The time projection is a nice feature to have. Most importantly the clock passed the "my wife likes it" test. Next test is longevity . . . we shall see. ... show more

Functional overall. Looks great, and is very bright. On the other hand, it only works when plugged in (despite the fact that it came with a battery installed) and only has 1 alarm. The projection feature is weak at best, and the clock itself feels very cheap upon handling.
