I got to use this product for a total of 15 minutes. For my first cook on the rotisserie I decided to do chicken wings. I got everything started, made sure the rotisserie was rotating and shut the lid. 15 minutes later I go back to see how things are progressing and I discover the rotisserie has quit rotating. The motor is running but the spit with the bask and wings was not turning. It was acting like the drive gears were not operating correctly or teeth were broken off the gears. That isn’t my worst issue. The issue is with Masterbuilt themselves. Their customer support is without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had with a company. You can not talk to anyone. Everything is through email or instant messages on the website. If your conversation ends for whatever reason then you have to start all over again. Example… I was in a conversation with customer service for 2 hours (counting hold time for next available representative) and suddenly the conversation ended and I had to start over again because as I was told a new conversation is a new case. Masterbuilt has failed me and turned me against their products. I am thankful that Amazon was able to make things right and sent me a replacement. However I will never by a Masterbuilt product again.

Works great for one chicken positioned to the left of center (away from heat manifold opening) but trying it with two birds it sometimes gets stuck in rotation - even with 12lbs of weight on it between the two birds. Also, having two birds on this at once will not produce an even cook - the right bird will be done first due to its closer proximity to the heat source. One other small improvement I'd like to see is the hanger you install on the right side if it could be designed to stay on and still support the upper grill grates when rotisserie is not in use.

I used this product to roast a whole chicken. It was easy to assemble and easy to clean. My only issue with the product is pretty spot on with the reviews. For some reason the motor stops and does not do a full rotation. I verified this by opening the grill periodically and found that the chicken was not making a full rotation. I tried moving the chicken closer to the motor and that did not work either. I would like to have used it with a 12 to 15 lb turkey but I didn’t want to risk it. But I was still able to have a finished product.

I used the rotisserie 1 time, just once. It didnt even last the full cook. it started off bad, would only rotate halfway then turn around and go the other way. came back 30 min later and it wasnt even rotating at all. Update: tried to use it again, almost a month later and it doesnt work at all. save your money. either the quality control on this is in the toilet or most of the reviews on this is fake.
