But, I have been going round and round for 18 days trying to get it replaced. When you call, all the recordings talk about how great they are at customer service. But that is all lip service. Three customer service reps so far. I have sent them the pictures and information they asked for 13 different times now, and then asked for a supervisor to contact me. Nothing. Nada. You can't talk to a live person when you call. All you get is automated responses. Someone usually calls you back the next day, but still has no idea what you are talking about. I bought this unit because it was made in America. But, do your research and find another company. This one doesn't care about your business. I cannot believe how little they care about helping their customers. DO NOT buy anything from Masterbuilt. Fantastic value, fantastic product!
Came packaged well, nothing broken or dinged up. Was able to put it together quickly. Already paired Bluetooth and am smoking chicken and a beef roast. Paired easily, the app is fantastic. The smoker itself is great. Holds a lot of variety, is producing a great amount of smoke, and most importantly is working properly!! Our last smoker was a Masterbuilt, we still have it and it still works actually but we needed something a little smaller because we moved and don’t have as large a patio. Absolutely happy with this purchase, love masterbuilt!

This is my second electric smoker from Masterbuilt. The first one is at our cabin, and I bought this newer model for home. I haven't done much with this one yet, but I can see already the pros/cons: Pros: - Electric is the way to go. I had a propane smoker before, but temperature control was really hard. As soon as the sun hit the black box it would jump up 75 degrees. Or if the tank ran empty, I wouldn't notice for a while. Stopped working after 2 uses. Temperature is off.
Let me just say I really wanted to like this smoker. I bought it as a gift for my hubby and he was extremely excited because he has been wanting one with Bluetooth. When we got it we used it once, but the meat came out extremely dry, which is weird because according to the temps the smoker provided, it shouldn’t have been. We thought maybe it was the brisket and forgot about it as it was the first cook in it. Then we cooked a chicken in it. Again very dry. We checked the chicken with a second probe and compared to the one the grill came with and it was a whopping THIRTY DEGREES OFF. Extremely disappointed. So we thought okay well I guess the temp gauge just doesn’t work. So then we go to make ribs on it, and we go to check it....IT WASNT EVEN HEATING UP. I sent mine back and will not be purchasing another one. Maybe it was just this one but wow what a hassle having to pack it back up and ship it back. Will be buying locally for purchases like this from now on.

Several things have broken on this product and I cannot get help from Masterbuilt: - The temp probe stopped working (within days of use) - The black paint started peeling almost right away (after a week) - At every rivet on the door the plastic is cracked and falling apart (after a month) - The wood loader handle has broken on one side (after 5 weeks) Not only is the item falling apart but the temperature of the unit has always been low. I have verified this with two different temperature probes. The unit is a full 50 degrees F. colder than it says it is, which renders it almost useless for larger cuts of meat. I have called Masterbuilt 14 times total and have e-mailed countless times and sent all requested photos. I have waited on hold for hours only to get cut off.
