In terms of "Amazon tattoo machines" this is one of the better ones I have come across. You get 1 battery so I'd either recommend getting another or purchasing a power supply in case the machine dies while doing the tattoo. Usually, I go by the rule that if the listing calls it a gun then it's probably not very good lol. However this is what I'd call the best of the worst. After looking at other reviews it looks like there's multiple machines being reviewed here as some pictures aren't matching up to mine. Another thing I noticed is people complaining about the machine not working after a few uses. Mine has worked so far but I will update if that changes.

I am a huge fan of this newer style of tattoo gun/pen. I don't know why we stuck with the old guns and barrels, with a power supply, and foot pedal and all that gear, when this is all you really need. This style all together is a great design, but the makers of this pen did a great job producing this product. It is very well made, does include a matching battery, to make it Wireless, and works exactly as intended. The pen itself, looks great, and is very easy to use, and adjust. After installing the needle cartridge in the tip, just spin the front portion of the pen, to adjust the depth of the needle, simple. Just turn on the pen, dip in ink, and you are ready. The needle cartridges are even sealed on the back, so you don't have any messy surprises inside your pen after removing the cartridge. They have various styles of cartridge, from single needle round liners all the way up to multiple needle Magnum cartridges. Each type has its own specific use. This pen holds them all. This pen would be ideal for smaller jobs, like permanent makeup around the eyes and lips, all the way up to full tattoos. Even if the battery does die, just pull it off and use the included RCA cable, to connect to your existing power supply and foot pedal, from any other tattoo machine. Overall, this is very well made device, very easy to use and user friendly. Very durable, with the great battery life, and DC power option. You can even buy additional batteries for this style online. Highly recommended, get rid of the excess of unneeded gear. All you really need is this, needle cartridges, and ink.

It’s a nice skinny pen, which is great if you have small hands. It runs very smooth and charges pretty fast. My main complaint is that the battery died in 2 ½ hours running at 6.5V after a full charge. If you are doing bigger pieces or longer sessions this is not the one to use. It takes as long to charge as it does to die. If you run your machine higher than 6.5V this probably isn’t the machine for you as the battery life wouldn’t provide more than 1 hour.

With it's thin, 23mm body, parallel sides and dimpled grip the graceful and minimalist design of this beautiful tattoo pen is truly stunning. It's both elegant, and highly functional, and it's one of the best running machines (tattoo OR PMU!) that I've ever held. This machine has a working range (with the integral battery pack) of from 5.0v to 12.0v, and it's incredibly smooth & vibration free, and whisper quiet throughout the entire range! I know it seems like bragging, but this thing runs like nothing else. That's what makes the Mast Fold Fly so perfect for permanent makeup, of ultra-detailed tattooing. It's so smooth and quiet. You'd hardly know it was running. One of the amazing features is that you can simply pull the battery pack off to reveal an RCA jack, with which you can run the pen off AC power (foot switch, and AC power supply needed). By doing that you can even extend the working voltage range even further. The AC clip cord cable, and a USB-C charging cable are both included. Operation is via a three button control panel at the top of the battery, and there is a very bright, highly legible digital LED display, as well. The dimpled grip area also complements the lovely pink anodized, satin finish. This is an incredible pen. At this price it's an awesome value, and you'll be a believer once you try it.
