These Mason Pearson brushes are AMAZING. I've had one for over 30 years that was a gift from my mother (the Mason Pearson men's 'Military' model - bristle & nylon mix), and it's still perfectly serviceable and brushes better than any other brush I've ever used. The price may appear shocking at first, but given the quality and longevity, it definitely amortizes out and is worth every penny - and then some. My daughter uses my brush all the time (so does my wife sometimes), so I decided to buy one for my daughter as a special present, same as I was given one as a kid. I wanted to get her the same bristle & nylon mix, but with the handle. That is the model being advertised here - model BN1 'Popular' model, and is supposed to be 9" long and 3" wide at the head, bristle and nylon mix, with 'popular' written on the handle near the head, and is also meant to include a separate cleaning brush, as shown on this Amazon page, and can be confirmed on the Mason Pearson site. What I have received FOUR TIMES now is the Mason Pearson B4 'Pocket Bristle' brush, which is only 6.75" long, is bristle only, no cleaning brush comes with it, and it sells separately on Amazon for exactly $100 less! I have contacted the seller and apparently it was 'investigated', but I was again sent the wrong brush, so I am now returning the 4th brush and I am giving up, but felt I needed to post for other buyers to check carefully that you are getting the correct item you paid for, and not something you can order here on Amazon for exactly $100 less. If you actually receive the correct brush, congrats, it's a great brush and will possibly serve you for many years to come. I was eventually able to buy the brush that was supposed to be sold here, and include a photo of it for reference.

wasnt sure how great this thing would be — but it is phenomenal leaves my hair so shiny and yet so soft never had any other brush do anything like it i brush my hair dry with it once in the morning and once at night as recommended and my hair has never been healthier or happier — silky shiny and looks super i guess if you get one from england they are $100 less but idc — worth it to not have to fly overseas

My first Mason brush was a gift twenty years ago. It took that long to wear out. My hair is long and this brush goes through tangles so gently. I knew I had to have another one, but balked at the price. I am so happy I treated myself to another one. There is not a better brush to be had.

Decided to put in the investment, do not regret it one bit. Not sure why it works but it does. It takes a bit to get used to the bristles of your scalp is sensitive. I have fine older hair but it detangles no problem
