I have used this brush for about a year now, and I love it! It keeps my hair soft and smooth. I swear my scalp is much healthier than it was before I bought this brush because it gets massaged while I brush my hair. It used to get itchy and a little flaky at times, but that hasn't happened since I started using this brush. I'm sure any boar bristle brush would provide these benefits, but I really like this one. The Mason Pearson Pure Bristle Brush was definately created for people with very long, very fine, silky hair. This brush is by far the best brush for this type of hair. Hair is never pulled, broken or tangled by this brush. This brush is gentle and smoothes the hair as it brushes the hair. I LOVE this brush. It is well worth its' price no matter what the cost. This hairbrush really works well and will last a very long time. I lost my first one after 12 years of use and carrying it not as carefully as I should have in my pocket book. I'm very happy with the replacement though I wish these brushes weren't quite so expensive

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I received and USED brush. I'm beyond discusted. This is an expensive brush- but I didn't pay a pretty penny for someone else's hair to be stuck in the bristles. Ugh. Nasty. How is this even allowed!?!?

I have used mason Pearson brushes for years and always love them but the one I just bought seems like it’s not a real mason Pearson brush it barely goes through my hair and I don’t have sick hair!
