It's hard to believe that there could be much difference between combs, but this one proves there is. It is smooth and highly polished, so it doesn't scratch the scalp or drag through the hair. I'm very glad I bought this.

Good quality fit and finish. Each tooth is well rounded but not too blunt, no snags or sharp edges. The shaft has a nice feel good thickness, feels very sturdy. The shaft is thicker and the comb tapers down at the tooth. Overall great quality. Shipping was on time.

Is it weird that this was one of my most satisfying purchases on Amazon? Seriously though, it was so worth investing 10X as much as I'd normally pay for a comb to get something that feels as satisfying as this. Don't hesitate. The difference in quality between this and the standard drug store comb is visible. There are no rough edges, it is firmer with enough flexibility. The only thing that might have been an improvement would be if it was somewhat larger. The health of my hair has definitely improved with Mason Pearson tools. ... show more
