As others have said, assembly is trivial. Screw on the legs, connect a few wires with clip-together connectors and you're done. The frame is pretty heavy metal, the legs are segmented plastic tubes you can take sections out of to change the height. Pretty easy. The adjustments are slow, there is no 'return to flat' one touch button and if you try to adjust "too far" the motor doesn't stop and it just grinds against itself until you release the button. I figured all of these might be the case at this price point so I wasn't surprised and none of those are deal breakers. The problem I ran into was that the adjustments won't hold. I set the bed how I wanted it before going to sleep and over the course of the night it slowly goes back down. I got this to stop me from snoring and when I'm elevated I don't snore, but toward the morning the bed is back to nearly flat and I'm snoring again. I only weigh 158 pounds so I'm not overloading the weight rating at all. Since I'm not expecting to raise/lower the bed often the fix was obvious. A few bits of wood from the scrap bin and some screws and I made a brace that holds the top of the frame at the desired angle. It looks silly but it works and you can't see it under the bed anyway. Haven't tried the USB ports but the blue lights on them are very bright. Normally I would just tape over them but since I won't be using the motors to adjust the bed any longer I'll just unplug the power supply. ... show more
