We purchased two twin XL base and 14" mattress sets to make a split king bed. So far, I must say that this has been a fantastic purchase! Easy set-up and comfortable mattress. You only have to put on the legs and plug in the power source, and you are ready to go. The mattress may need a few hours to fully inflate, but once it is inflated, it is worth it. My husband and I appreciate the ability to adjust our sides independently from one another now. The price was also lower than what we paid for our last mattress and single adjustable bed base. Oh, and the base offers plenty of features: USB and C ports, pockets on both sides of the bed, a light under the bed, a light in the remote, adjustable heights for the base, and various massage options. Our other adjustable bed didn't offer most of this. *Note: if you are going to do a split king set-up, make sure you have enough space in your room. A king bed is quite large. This bed is absolutely horrible. One of the legs broke off into the base and the mattress does not conform with the adjustment of the base of the bed. I have endlessly tried to contact customer service and they will not help with a refund. The bed is dangerous and the second leg is bending on the bed and still no help. It is a very poorly made product. I would not even give it the one star that I checked, but had to do so to submit the review. ... show more

A great purchase. I bought this because my bedroom is small and the queen size had to go. I love the fact that it is adjustable and very easy to set up on my own. I needed no tools and was good to go in about 15 minutes. Make sure to move the power cords and strap them with velcro our of the way, because my under bed storage kept pulling it out. Now, the massage is less massage, and more vibration. I find it a little loud and instead of using the head vibration I use the foot one and it is less noisy. The mattress was good and I aired it out for two days. It inflated well and as a twin xl it is plenty long enough for me at 6'2 and 190 pounds. Also, pair the remote before putting the mattress on the bed...less crawling! Just in case, I did buy the replacement plan. ... show more

The split king is very comfortable. The setup is extremely simple. The mattresses are a little softer than I would like, but still comfortable. The beds can tilt easily, and the strap they send to hold them together is laughable. We actually have ours joined with a towing strap now - the first week, my husband and I both tilted and fell out of the beds. Make sure they are absolutely flat to the ground, and don’t store anything under that will touch the bottom of the bed. The massage is okay, but extremely loud, and basically ineffective through the 14 inch mattress. Actually raising and lowering the bed is very quiet, though. The mattresses slide off constantly. I am forever pushing it back in the bed. It doesn’t fall to the floor - it just slips sideways and is hanging off uncomfortably. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase, but it’s not perfect. ... show more

Im unsure how to rate the mattress as I never received it. The frame fits well in the box but out of the box there are no legs, no remote, no plugs/cords to use it. So all in all I would say the bed is not usable. To return has been a hassle.
