I bought this engine kit and installed it on a 26" Kent Bayside Cruiser. Overall the installation was very easy to understand and accomplish. One of the most misleading things was that in the video on here, it showed the clutch handle as having a push button. The clutch handle that came with the motor has this awkward little lever that you have to rest on a tiny nub to hold the clutch handle in. ... show more

    • Not What I Thought It Was
Did not meet my standards for the frame of my bike, in which was labeled could be used on/for. The instruction booklet, cause I wouldn't call it a manual; is like a 3yr old put it together, and you have to bounce around the booklet.

It works well and is of decent quality but definitely has a learning curve putting it together so be sure to read the instructions and do more research to get the most out of it but overall good product

I got to the IMAYCC bike kit to convert my old mountain bike into a motorized bike. Besides the cool factor, it has some practical uses since I still enjoy long rides in the woods but sometimes the hills can be challenging and having the assistance of a motor makes it easier to complete the trip. This is a very good kit although I am not sure it is a 100 cc engine. I have experience building bikes and took on the challenge of assembling this kit on my own. The product description and video reviews say it should take 2-4 hours but I took about 3 days surmounting each hurdle as I went. It is a challenging build to begin with and doing it on my own turned out to be an even bigger project. The biggest hurdle was mounting the rear sprocket on the back wheel. I followed all the directions in the manual and found the parts in the kit and eventually had a complete mounted engine and accessories on my 26 inch mountain bike. I did the 16:1 gas oil mix as stipulated in the product description and the manual. I was not able to get the motor running in a few test runs. I wanted to complete and post this review since I am not sure how long it will take to get the bike running. When I succeed I will update the review with a video. The kit comes with a lot of tools to make the assembly easier. I did have to use bigger tools for installation of some of the stages. If you do not have items like pliers, spanners, wrenches, screw drivers, scissors etc, you will not be able to complete this assembly. ... show more

Would recommend buying one, easy to set up and run, I am impressed with the power it has, goes about 40 miles uphill.
