I've bought over 50 and this is top quality, the instructions have finally been updated,and go into great detail, it comes with tools,the packaging is much better,and the cylinder isn't full of flashing,and over cast,you don't have to do anything to it,if you don't want too,the ports are much larger,everything in the whole kit is just better. I will say that these used to have a 12mm piston pin,and now they are 10mm, which is fine,but if you are like me and do performance upgrades,you NEED to know that,so,I'll let everyone know. Getting everything on my bike wasn't too hard, but you'll need a lot of mechanical knowledge. I ended up having to replace some parts either because they were faulty or didn't work properly. The carburator jet is too rich which caused 4 stroking and fouled spark plugs. I bought a new carb and jets, which seems to have improved performance. The expansion chamber I bought also helps. The major issues I have are with the gas tank and engine mount. At some point while I was riding, the front engine mount and studs fell out, and I didn't notice until I got back home. I had to make my own front mount with parts I bought at the hardware store. The gas tank leaks all over the engine and onto the ground when I fill it above the seam. I have yet to find a solution but the last thing I want is my whole bike to burst into flames. EDIT: After writing this review, the seller reached out to me so solve the issues. I sent the pictures of the broken parts and requested replacement parts. They told me to order a new kit so that I would get my parts faster and then they would refund me. I was a bit skeptical at first because I didn't know if it was legit, but it looks like I've been refunded in my Amazon account. Just waiting for it to deposit into my bank account. Overall, really good customer service, reach out if you're having problems.

I've built 15 motorized bicycles. 14 of those were 2 stroke. This engine has to be the worst I have ever purchased. It's pretty common for single cylinder 2 strokes to have some vibration, but this engine has the worst vibration I have ever seen in a 2 stroke bicycle engine. I suspect the crankshaft is extremely out of balance. Like I said...some is to be expected, but this thing will shake you and the bike to pieces.

I decided to write a follow up to my original post. After purchasing this kit back last fall I was about to give up on this unit. I have replaced the CDI twice but have a performance CDI with a performance NGK plug from O'Reilly. I cut the wire in half and spliced with a expensive wire. It seems that I have trouble getting it started without spring fluid into the air filter. When it takes off, it takes off if you throttle it. It seems to run well with air filter off. I think I'm upgrading on carburetor as well as muffler. After reading a post on FB It seems that the main issue have been with improper clutch adjustment to actually get started. I have also upgraded hardware to 10.8 as muffler would come loose. The definite flaw with kit is boom was hard to follow as well as leaking fuel out air filter. I'm now giving seller benefit despite issues

I've had this motor kit on the same bike for around a year now. The initial installation was fairly simple, a small socket set is a huge help. The motor has great power, can drag me about 25 mph at over 200 pounds. I was riding it daily for months and have put around 400 miles on it. Maintenance had been pretty simple tinkering here and there, only one new plug after I made it all the way through the break in mixture and a "racing" plug box. It's a lot of fun to ride and mostly reliable, I usually kept the small tool kit with me though as the chain tensioner need adjustment periodically especially while the chain is still stretching. Replacement parts and upgrades are super cheap too

Also the seller has great customer service, I have a little problem with my order and they got it taken care of very quickly for me. So far, I haven’t gotten it started. I’m waiting on a new carb now because the og one sheared right off. I only messed with the carb because upon first fill of the tank, the carb was dumping gas’s out of the air box portion of it. The instructions were incredibly vague and was rather annoying to interpret. I might write a better review later; but for now, hell no.

This engine performs really good. Ranging from speed, fuel efficiency and reliability. Topping out at around 30-35 mph for me. I get around almost 50 miles per tank which isn’t bad at all for such a small engine. It’s a reliable engine as parts are cheap or expensive to fix but it differs. Ranging from 10-100 dollars per part/set. A couple down side parts about this engine is how it maintains. I’ve had this engine for about a month and it was slowly dying on me until it gave up. Parts from inside the engine and outside were breaking off. While also destroying the inside of the engine. Parts are cheap but with all of the money I spent on parts. I could have gotten me a brand new engine kit/set. Now these are Chinese motors and I wasn’t expending alot from it. But surviving only a month and it broke on me already? That’s pretty bad. I’m giving this product a 3/5. A three for the fuel efficiency, speed and reliability. Removing two stars because of how cheap the engine is made of, and how easy parts can break off. Also because of the engine dying on me. This is my honest review. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps you understand this product and thinks about buying this.
