  • Possibly the best budget option after cushions are added
After a few months of ownership i can say that overall this is a good chair for mounting flight sticks, considering the price. The mounting is all metal, and very sturdy. This chair will work for 99 percent of use cases. If you are handy with tools and DIY, you could easily modify this chair for even more specific needs. Ive done light modification to mine so i can have a trackball mouse next to my vkb gladiator. The mounting peices are also quick to remove and adjust while still being very sturdy, which is nice. There are some cons, the main one being that the back support and bottom cushion are not very good. This was easily addressed atleast, I got a universal lumbar pillow for the back to replace the one it came with, and i got a thin cushion for the seat. The other minor issue, which is to be expected in all honesty, is that this chair is very front heavy. Just something to be aware of, could also be fixed with a counter balance. Overall I am happy with this chair. Playing Elite Dangerous in VR with a flight stick setup on this chair is a very enjoyable experience. If you are looking for a good budget flight setup, consider this chair with a couple extra cushions for the bottom and lumbar areas. With that this chair is still the cheapest option avaliable for flight setups. ... show more

  • Pretty good for the price….
The chair is pretty easy to assemble, the hotas mounts are as well, I actually ended up using the center stick mount plate on the right side so the stick was closer to the arm rest. I’ll post a picture when I get home. The chair itself isn’t the most comfortable but for the price I’m willing to overlook that, plus Ill add my own memory foam cushion. I have the Winwing Orion 2 Hotas and it fits on the plates provided. Everything is very sturdy and I am sure it will hold up to repeated use. Lastly the Hotas mounts are easy to remove, 3 knobs and they slide right out. Now to find a desk mount that I can slide them into when I don’t need the controls. ... show more

  • Perfect chair with bonus of controller mounts
Perfect. Chair alone is very well made. Everything is properly secured and it doesn't use any cheap plastics or materials that will give out where it counts. Bolts have Loctite pre-applied to aid bolts not backing out over time. Instructions were great. Give both a visual and readable instruction that is clear and concise. Nuts are welded to the part needed to be secured so you will not have issues with bolts loosening over time. Well-engineered overall. The attachment for controllers is top notch but also not required if you should want to leave off. I ordered cheap clamp-based controller mounts and its been awful. This setup allows you to install the base bracket, mount controllers and if not in use remove the controller and mount as a unit to set aside. Many many options to setup the mounting differently based on your preference. Controller bases have enough holes and configuration to add additional shelves or other items as you see fit. Only 2 negative I found over entire setup. 1 is the cushion is very firm. I do believe this will aid in longevity, but it does need time to break in and may need an additional cushion. 2 is where the L brackets for the joystick mounts interface the chair mount, there were some sharp edges on the metal from where it was cut. When you sit down, these edges are right at your calf. No biggy though just take a file and smooth out if its an issue. ... show more

  • Versatility and craftsmanship
Great chair for those who need to be higher off of the floor and easy to assemble and very sturdy. Comes with more than enough hardware to accommodate most add on components. While the manufacturer wasn’t certain that you could mount WinWing Orion attachments, it absolutely does. No problems there. The only negative thing I found was that the base attachments were a little too high as I sat down in it and not to my comfort. I did have to cut about 3/4 of an inch off of the vertical 90 degree brackets. The seat is a bit firm to my liking but, otherwise it’s very comfortable. All in all it was the best choice for my cockpit and setup. Highly recommended it for those who have trouble with getting in and out of lower seated type static simulator models. ... show more

  • Should have bought several, for the kids
Likely best deal I've stumbled upon in a while. It's easy to assemble, decent quality, and semi heavy duty. It allows attachment of controls, HOTAS, etc, in a varity of configurations. Came with plenty hardware to mount a slew of diferent brand controller. Has heavy gauge, adaptable, mounting platforms It's a "space-saver," allowing me to roll it out of the way, freeing up floorspace vs having a fixed platform. For me, it's a perfect VR set up. ... show more

  • The worst purchase possible next to buying an engagement ring
This is a very poor chair. Even as far as gaming chairs go. This thing sucks. The PU upholstery is thin and damages very easily, and begins wearing away. The foam padding is sub-par, does not cushion well, is painful to sit in for anything longer than a few minutes The entire chair leans forward The back rest, even when tightened down completely, has 1/4" of play and is loose The recline spring is extremely tight, requiring effort to push the seat into recline, even when loosened to max, compounded by the seat leaning forward The mount arms, even when tightened, are still a little loose, causing movement in mounted controls mount arms stick out in front of the seat, requiring movement around them to get into or out of the seat and preventing pushing chair up to a desk. No way to swing mounts out of the way or fold or in any way stow for not in use. All in all, a regretful purchase. I seriously wish I had instead just bought a separate chair and some decent desk mounts for my HOTAS. Do NOT Make My Mistake. Do Not Buy This Chair. Ive bought a lot of useless crap in my day. Ive bought cars that didnt work. Ive bought lies that were obvious. Ive bought computer parts that fried something in my system. But this thing? It is absolutely the worst purchase Ive made, with the exception of the engagement ring I bought an ex. But thats another story... ... show more
