Hello, This is the best thing ever for checking mites. However the one I purchased leaks. Unfortunately, being proactive purchasing early my return/replace window is closed. With all that being said, I would still prefer this as the method for checking mites. Thanks

My husband order this to check for mites. It was straightforward to use and very effective for the mite check. He is a beginning beekeeper and found it to be easier to use than some other methods often used.

If you use the alcohol wash it spills everywhere. There is no sill so it just pours out around the lid.
