Well packaged, so it takes a while to get it out of the crate. Shortening of the PTO shaft may be necessary unless you’re using a quick hitch. Does what it says. I have already ground up about 20 stumps with ease. Slow and easy is the key, but still only took about 15 minutes each to grind a 30” maple stump and a 24” chestnut stump.

Best money I've spent in a while! Within 2 weeks I locked off 650 average 4" stumps. Plus another 35 each 12" & 24" stumps. Works like a champ! I can't even tell if the teeth have dulled any. I did have to retighten 1 tooth.

Absolutely love this thing — amazing product for the price. It’s built extremely well and feels very heavy-duty. I have a John Deere 1025R, and for a smaller tractor, it handled the job really well. I’ve already ground down about 15 stumps within two weeks with zero issues. I would highly recommend this product. The delivery driver was great too — he brought it right up by the house, and I didn’t even have to be there. The packaging was secure and well done. Stop reading reviews and just order it — you won’t regret it lol.

Works great on 25 hp tractor. I had to adjust the top link so the pto output and grinder disc input shafts were parallel, it creates a vibration and jumping if this is out of whack. Keep the side turn buckles very tight also to try and keep this thing under control. The only picture I have is from the end of the job, just cleaning up a small root where a 5 foot round stump was. It ate 5 hardwood, 5 large palm tree, and one giant softwood stump. It paid for itself already x 2 if I had hired someone and the teeth still look like new, even chewed up a few bricks accidently. Run it about half throttle because when it grabs it will yank the tractor off the ground! Be prepared for a sore neck from twisting around and plane off about 1 inch at a time. It is the most fun attachment I have, shoots out giant chips like from a huge chainsaw, you can see them in the picture. This is from 1/2 throttle! Will also make a super nice shallow ditch really fast.

Once it's setup it works great, however, the PTO shaft may need to be cut down. Not a HUGE issue, but a bit of a pain. My other implements do not require cutting the PTO shaft. For the money though, you really can't beat this. Also, when this arrives, it will come by freight and unloaded using a lift gate and fork truck. Make sure you are prepared for that and that the drive can get his truck to your location. Once they remove it from the truck, you'll need a way to lift it from the pallet. I used my forks for my JD 1025r to do this but had to put my box blade on the rear to keep the tires down. Also, once you get it configured and are ready to use it, make sure you have counterweight on the front if you have a small tractor like mine. The bucket isn't enough if empty, but I loaded mine with a scoop of gravel and it worked good.
