  • Designed to work on tractors with a PTO shaft. The stump grinder works best on tractors featuring PTO shafts that are independent of the tractors transmission drive system. This allows the operator to control the speed of the tractor independently and separately to the PTO speed.
  • Since the tractor pulls the grinder through the stump, the rate at which the tractor moves is important and should be independent of the PTO shaft.

Good value for the cost. Cheapest stump grinder you will find and it’s the same as all the other brands that mark it up for profit. Good quality from what I can tell. I ended up stripping a bolt when attaching the PTO but that was on me so I replaced it. Worked great on the 4 smaller stumps I ground. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

Surpasses expectations. Grinds hardwood and pine stumps easily since it uses the power of the tractor engine. Sure beats renting a grinder. Has definitely paid for itself.

This it a great product. We have taken out close to 50 stumps so far. We had to replace the teeth once, and the hardest stump to remove was a 36 inch white oak stump, even though it was cut 3 years ago it took 2 days to remove it. We have it attached to a John Deere tractor. IT works great!!!

Unit came within a week got it up and running within 1.5H never used one or had one before! We did not have to cut the PTO shaft it was a direct fit with a HF 3 point QD. All teeth were tight from factory & slip clutch was already pre-set for the lowest HP sub compact tractors on the market now (make sure you check everything and follow the manual before starting) Took a sweet gum down that was about 1-2 feet deep and a root area or 5ft within an hour going really slow and not cutting deep at all. Really happy with the purchase and it comes with all the tools to keep it serviced. If your in the fence and have stumps get it pays for itself. ... show more

when putting on rear slip clutch pto shaft, make sure to remove the two bolts or the shaft will not go on, the stump grinder works great, does an outstanding job
