  • It didn’t disappoint!!
Style: 8 Frame Rack(4 Deep Frames)
If you’re a hobby or somewhat small scale beekeeper, I highly recommend this! Granted, I don’t know what’s considered small scale. Ha! I bought this after seeing a Beek on YT do a video review and I’m so glad I did! This was perfect and made extraction so much faster! Forget cranking a handle by hand when you can get this electric extractor! We did 10 deep frames and a week later our friends came over to extract 11 mediums! I’ve told numerous people about the extractor and sent the link via text. It’s easy to put together, operate and clean along with being shockingly quiet. Perfect! ... show more

  • So happy with this motorized honey extractor!
Style: 4 Frame Rack(2 Deep Frames)
I was pleasantly surprised how easy this was to put together and use. At first I thought the motor might be too small for the job, but it spun out all the honey on an 85° day. And hallelujah, I don’t have to hand crank as this replaces an ancient hand crank one that was owned by my parents. I’m also happy with the small size and legs as I can easily move it around. Other reviews mention that it vibrates or wobbles, but I found that if you pay attention to the weight of the frames and put comparable weights opposite each other that it remains stable. Also starting slow and and working up to full speed also kept it stable. Overall for me it’s a good investment for the few hives I have. ... show more

  • I like it.
Style: 8 Frame Rack(4 Deep Frames)
Great extractor for the price. Easy to put together and operate. Was very surprised by how quiet it was. In summary here are pros and cons. Pros Good price, works well, easy to use and put together. Disassembly is easy but you do need a tool to loosen the mounting nuts. Cons Slight defect on one of the hinges for the lid. So that side has a small gap, no biggie. Slightly awkward to put med frames in the perpendicular slots, but they do fit. Disassembly is easy but assembly can be a bit fiddely due to the arms that attach to the motor/ central bar not being rigid. They basically flop around and it’s fiddely to align them again. Also no biggie. Lastly the hole for honey gate is a little high up the side of the drum so you need to tip the extractor quite a lot to get the last couple gallons out and if you tip it a 5 gallon bucket no longer fits underneath. I set it up on the longest leg setting as well so this is the main reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Luckily I’m strong enough to have no issues picking it up and putting it at an angle on top of the bucket to drain the last bit. The extractor seems well made but is not overly heavy which helps. FYI don’t tighten the main 4 nuts on the motor/ central bar too much, I think you could bend it out of shape if you are not careful. I basically used a socket by hand to tighten so there was no play. That was good enough. ... show more

  • Defective with horrible customer service
Style: 8 Frame Rack(4 Deep Frames)
This honey spinner was purchased for my daughter for her birthday, but she did not need it until only recently (honey season). The motor worked for less than a minute. We reached out to customer service immediately (before the warranty expiration). Initially I was impressed with their customer service--they determined that the problem was with the "governor part" and the said they would send us a replacement part free of charge. This was on October 10. At this point I figured the part was in the mail. I was wrong. On October 23, I finally heard from them again. They said they are unable to send the part because it contains a capacitor and that is on the "prohibited item" list and that they cannot ship it. (Which makes me wonder--how on earth did they ship it to begin with?) They ALSO told me that the item is past its warranty date. (Apparently if they wait long enough--2 weeks in this case--then it passes the warranty date and they are no longer responsible.) Most recently, they want me to find a place to have it repaired and they are willing to give me $20 dollars. No thank you. $20 will get me nowhere. Do not buy this product. They will not stand by their product. In fact, I would avoid any other VEVOR product as well. ... show more

  • 4.5 Stars
Style: 4 Frame Rack(2 Deep Frames)
The media could not be loaded. The good... easy assembly, but you'll need a #2 Phillips head a 14mm box wrench or socket and small crescent wrench, heavy duty construction sturdy legs. Quiet, adjustable speed and clear lid. The bad... there are some sharp edges and O got a couple of small nicks on two fingers while unpacking. The worst is that there are no side handles. It really needs handles and I'll add them to move it around. The ugly...it unpacked with a fist sized dent in the bottom but despite the heavy construction zi gave it a decent thump from the inside with a rubber mallet and no harm done. Overall very nice for the price. I got it on sale for $160 but probably worth full price too and so much easier than my manual extractor! ... show more

  • Works great. Smooth and quiet.
Style: 4 Frame Rack(2 Deep Frames)
My daughter got me this for an early Father’s Day gift. I wanted to try it out today, so I pulled four fully capped medium frames from one of my hives. After uncapping, I loaded the four frames into the extractor. Spun them for approximately 3 minutes on 50% power, upped the speed to 90% and spun an additional 5 minutes. Flipped frames and repeated the process above. Did an excellent job and removed 99% of the honey. The operation was smooth with absolutely no vibration at 90% power. No need to hold the machine at all, and it was not bolted down, simply sitting on concrete floor. After completing the four frames, took the motor assembly off, removed the wire cage and rinsed all the parts with cold water with the garden hose. Cleaned up easily. 13 pounds of honey from four medium frames! I would highly recommend. ... show more
