  • Fits perfectly
I have a 2014 Jetta SE 1.8TSI, and changing my filter (change between 50-60k) rid my car of its rough idle. You need a Phillips screwdriver and some long needle nose pliers, press in the clip on the hoses with the pliers and gently but firmly wiggle the clamps off by hand. Wear goggles and gloves and have a catch pan handy for the fuel in the filter!!! And make sure you hear a click or snap as you connect each hose, and give a gentle tug to make sure they’re tight. I let mine run at idle and checked for leaks before going for a short drive and checking again. Do not force the clips on the hoses, they will break! There are arrows on the side of the filter showing which direction the filter should face. I had ramps, but jack stands or a lift will work because you have to climb underneath the passenger side. ... show more

  • Nice Replacement For GTI MK6
This is an excellent filter for the price and with the latest revision. The fitment and installation was easy too. Thank you for the great product! DON'T PAY SOMEONE TO INSTALL THIS FILTER! Places like GoodYear charge a lot for this filter. I had one quote me for $180 for parts and labor. They wanted $80 for a gold edition filter and $100 for an hour labor...the replacement takes 10 minutes...unreal. But, someone will pay that because they are afraid to experience something new. **Note, I haven't heard any weird noses or anything from the filter while driving. I read on some reviews that they had a whistling sound after install. Not this guy** ... show more

  • Watch the video if you’ve never done it before.
Perfect fit! 2012 VW Beetle 2.0 Turbo. Took all of 10 minutes to swap it out. Had a lot of trouble with loss of power when starting the car on a flat surface. Smacked the fuel filter and it started right up. So I figured I needed to replace it. It’s $25 less on here than it was at Autozone. The clips have a button on them to release. It’s very simple once you see them. Definitely look up the you tube video on it. No need to get yourself frustrated over a simple clip. You’re going to need a flat head to compress them if you have big fingers. Three clips and a philips head screw and you’re good. Make sure you hear the click when putting the hoses back on to ensure they are seated properly. Started right up. Old filter had brown coming out of the input so I’m hoping that was the issue. ... show more

  • 6.6 Bar fuel filter for many VW and Audi models
Correct filter for my 2017 VW Jetta 1.4L TSI engine. The Mann WK 69 filter is a 6.6 bar filter. This is the correct part if your model requires a 6.6 bar filter. Most of the turbos are using the 6.6 bar filter (VW part 1K0-201-051-K). That is the only tricky part about getting the right part is that VW makes this filter with 2 different pressure ratings (4 bar or 6.6 bar). The pressure in bar is stamped on the end of the filter. On VW models, the filter is on the passenger side under the vehicle just in front of the gas tank. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for 2014 Jetta 1.8T
Worked perfectly with my 2014 Jetta 1.8T. This is the 6.6 bar filter, as others have said. A warning though, be careful with the plastic clips that you need to push in while removing the fuel lines. They can be a bit fragile or stuck due to dirt build-up, and if they break, your 10min job just became a whole lot harder. So be nice to those connectors. ... show more

  • Exact fit for my 2008 VW Jetta GLI
Exact fit for my 2008 Jetta GLI. Made in China. I change this out every 50,000 miles (I am at 250,000 miles). I usually disconnect the battery and wait atleast 20-30 min to let the fuel pressure minimize before opening up the lines. You need a small flat head to press the release buttons on the gas lines, and a medium phillips to the filter clamp. There have times when I've had dark brown, black gasoline come out of the old filter but have been lucky to have clear (clean) gas the last few times changing it. Car always runs great right after this change (quicker starting, lot's of engine power and throttle feel, although these may be a placebo). ... show more

  • Replace every 40k
Install was pretty simple after watching a few videos on YouTube. This filter is one that a lot of people overlook when maintaining their vehicles. I’ve heard that it’s best to replace them every 40k miles, even better if earlier. I noticed a small increase in mpg, not huge but gives you a peace of mind knowing that you’re burning cleaner gas. ... show more

  • This is the filter you need on a VW or Audi 2.0T
If you're replacing the fuel filter on a VW or Audi with a 2.0T engine, this is your filter. Accept no substitutes. This is important because the check valve and pressure regulator are integrated into the filter on our cars, and some lesser products may cause your car to throw a low pressure fuel rail out of specification code from time to time. This is the 6.6 bar version currently specified for cars that originally shipped with the 6.4 bar filter, and a LOT cheaper on Amazon than getting one from the dealer or a sketchy replacement from an auto parts store. ... show more
