Can be a bit noisy...but I also do need to spend a whole lot of time in my kitchen (so it doesn't really bother me). Makes the perfect ice to eat and keeps drinks cold. Its easy to set up and use.

First impression this machine is a small compact machine. Looks nice on the counter. Loader than my nugget ice maker. Makers nice chewable ice. Where it falls on its face. The machine has to be unplugged at least once a week to unthaw it's ice maker elevator. It makes a gosh dang load noise of it having issues and doesn't shut it's self off, which would be fine if it would correct it's self. Which maybe it does when Im not home. But the noise of it when home makes you think the thing is going to burst into flames. So unplug it for half hour and your good to go for another week or so. The return policy through Amazon is a joke. Think this ice maker comes with a longer extended warranty on its own. I dont know, it like to try another one just to see if it's just this machine. Not wanting to drop another 300 and a piece of crap.

The media could not be loaded. It was great the first 3 months, now it just makes the loudest irritating sound and we can't make ice. Yes, I clean the machine and follow directions. I bought this 3 months and 5 days ago.
