I've been using this coffee maker almost every day for over a year now. I know it's stupid to abuse the batteries like that, but I love this coffee maker. I can get 2 or 3 cups from 5.0Ah battery. It works great with senseo coffee pods also. I highly recommend this product for any Makita fan.

First impression is the fact that pricing is too expensive, especially the batteries needed to get this brewing going. Battery drains fast, It takes a 5 amp to make you about 2 cups of coffee (which is normally enough for most ppl). I like to use the Baronet coffee roaster pods , as it comes in different flavors and has a rich smell and taste. Or you can simply use it to make hot water and use your own instant coffee, sugar and creamer. I’m a coffee drinker and I have no issues spending this amount on a maker I will use almost on a daily. Being a carpenter, it’s very rare we will have a microwave or coffee maker, or even a working outlet around the area at all times, so having this little thing can change your life and come with you wherever you go. Being a makita person, I already have a significant amount of batteries and chargers so draining one on a cup or two, I have no complaints. Definitely recommend to anyone, especially the ones out in the field . ... show more

This is amazing for the jobsite! When you want 1 to 2 extra cups of coffee, this does the job! My boyfriend uses this very often after he gets to work and got extra batteries because he can never have enough coffee. Such a great gift!!

Excellent for portability had it for about a year now water still always hot. Downside is you can’t buy the filter and only one comes with it for the loose coffee grounds. I wish they would make parts for it like the filter and also the Makita coffee cup.

Perfect for one or two people, saves time going to a store for a coffee. DOESNT work with K-Cups but the pods it uses are easy to purchased on Amazon and delivered the next day in most cases. I get 2 cups per battery before I need a charge. We have many Makita tools with over a dozen batteries floating around the truck. If you don’t have makita batteries and charger already then this machine is probably not worth the money. Generic makita batteries are garbage and don’t last very long. I’ve tried several of them and write the purchase date on them and never get more then a few months of daily use before they stop taking a charge. ... show more

Do not buy it. It only let us brew one small cup during our camping trip. It used the whole charge from the battery. Spent so much money for the batteries, charger and a coffee maker. Two batteries let us brew two cups of coffee for two days. Suspect it’s not the maker but Amazon that sells crappy products that were returned. ... show more
