I purchased this pizza oven to use in my outdoor kitchen. Setup was simple and fast. The oven reached 800 degrees in about 15 minutes. There was a bit of a learning curve with cooking the pizzas to keep from burning the edges because they were cooking so fast. I found that turning the heat down until the gauge showed 600 degrees worked perfectly. I could then turn the pizza about every 20 seconds and it had a nice golden brown crust and the cheese was evenly melted. I checked the temperature of the pizza stone when the temperature gauge read 600 degrees and the stone was 650 with my IR thermometer. I think this oven is a great buy for someone wanting to try cooking their own pizzas outdoors. It comes with 2 peels, a cast iron plate for cooking pasta or sandwiches, and a pizza cutter.

Got this for my in-laws for Christmas. They have been on the fence about getting one, and were looking into a much more expensive unit, but had been tire kickers for a LONG time. The price of this one was great, and, better yet, it came with the accessories. I figured it would allow them to dip their toes in the proverbial water, without making a commitment to the MUCH more expensive oven. Well, they have been using this for about a month now, and they feel that it does the job so well that they don't even have to upgrade to there expensive unit. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend.

We bout this pizza oven during a sale and ended up paying just about 100.00 with shipping! When it finally arrived, the packaging was damaged so I expected the worst but there was only a small dent that doesn't seem to affect use and everything else was fine. You have to have some experience using wood or gas fired pizza ovens but the learning curve isn't bad. Crank it up to get the floor to 800 plus and launch your pizza. As it cooks you'll want to lower the flame and try to maintain an even cook by rotating the pizza every so often using the smaller turning peel. The biggest issue I had was during the cook you really need to pay attention to your pie. As it cools and starts to bubble up, the crust will get burned so keep that flame on LOW! Once the cheese bubbles and the crust has a nice color to it, pull the pizza with the larger peel. Let cool for a minute, cut and serve! It's that easy folks and this oven makes it even easier!

This is my first dedicated pizza oven, but I've been a professional baker in the past. I've done 3 series of bakes in this, and each time my pizza is catching on fire. I've tried stretching the rounds smaller, I've tried baking the pizza right on the front edge of the stone, and I've tried turning the flame all the way down, but nothing fixes the issue. When rotating the pizza, it invariably catches on fire. My dough balls are 235g, which is on the small side for a 12" pizza, and my topping are minimal, but I'm still having issues. Beyond that, while the oven is advertised at 14", mine measures smaller, and the largest pizza I can make in it is around 11". Beyond the burned bits of crust on every pizza, I love this thing. The built in thermometer is very handy, and the results when things go mostly to plan are great, but I feel like a taller dome would be a big benefit to reduce fires.

We have owned a few pizza ovens and this one is the absolute best! Heats up fast. Keeps the heat even in the oven. Not too heavy and comes with some great accessories along with a case to put them in. Great value for your money. We have even taken this pizza oven with us to friends home to have a pizza party! Easy to travel with.

The oven is really well built, everything looks high quality and it works really well. Bare in mind that the actual shipping weight is 40lb, so if you're using a currier you may end up paying extra for it.
