I bought these barstools as "used in excellent shape" for a great price. Most of this furniture stuff has tons of little parts & pieces, right? So I had to laugh when I opened the box. Everything was packed like brand new. Except the screws. It looked like someone had opened the box, taken all the screws out, saw the plethora of other pieces & said, "Oh hell no" and threw the screws back in loose and sent it all back lol! Nothing was missing & with my trusty sidekick (aka Australian Shepherd) we got it put together in about 30 minutes, assembly is easy if you follow the directions. I really like them and I'm glad someone else thought it was too much trouble. The color is pretty and they're nice and sturdy, quality is good. Another win for Amazon used buys.

Really great as small tables, but definitely not if you want to sit on them.

I did not get these to sit on them - I rather needed two small tables for something. It was very well packaged and the corners of the tops were well protected, I always appreciate that. All parts were there and it was pretty easy to put them together and they seem quite sturdy. But I sat on one just to try it out and it was *extremely* uncomfortable. So for my purposes they work great and if you need a little table in this style, I would totally recommend them. But I would absolutely not recommend them for sitting on them. As an update: I added some wheels [ Luomorgo 8 Pcs 1" Caster Wheels Swivel Stem Casters ] to be able to move my little 'tables' wherever I need them, I am posting two pictures.

Perfect for my use case (speakers)

Just put these together, and couldn't be happier! It was slightly confusing to put together, but luckily I was on an ADD medication. The dimensions couldn't be more perfect for my use case, which was for my speakers. I can also access what is behind the stools, and in the past could not. These have good scratch resistance and decent build quality, but are not comfortable, and can topple over easily. The price was cheaper than similar products, which added all up makes me extremely happy

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

I ordered these stools yesterday. Got them today and put them together. First seat (4th photo) was put together with no problem. The second seat the screws came through the top of the seat. I know I wasn’t screwing tightly because I have arthritis in my right hand. There are four puckered screw marks where the screw caused the seat top to splinter and blister. One of the screw holes which holds the seat is stripped because the screw won’t catch or align. This is an inferior product. Keep looking cause these stools ain’t it. How do you get your money back on a product that has been put together?

So! It is a darn good score! Two months is all one has lasted so far and I am not sitting on the second one to keep it as a table or for guests of lessor weight. I believe these were rated for more lbs. than my weight but if not by much, then normal sitting and standing puts extra force and then weight too upon it and it will quickly break down like one of mine has. It is so near going to fail on me and twice now I haven't got a merchant to even send another I am ordering. ugh Charlie Brown!
