This is a great basic kit for those of us who like to make cocktails and fancy drinks. I personally don’t drink alcohol much, and this is a great way to make fancy and fun mock tails. My partner drinks alcohol more than I do, and he loves making a variety of cocktails with it. The booklet it came with is really basic but does have a few good ideas in it. The wooden holder is beautiful and high quality, my only gripe with it is that the muddler falls out of it pretty easy. They should’ve added a little cover on the back side so it wouldn’t fall over. The entire kit is made from high quality and comfortable to use metals. Every piece has a function and works perfectly doing that function. I only wish it had a few extra of the more often used pieces so you didn’t have to clean between every drink. Mostly, I wish it had at least one extra shaker. An extra strainer would be nice too, as if people are drinking different drinks it can be annoying cleaning mint or chunky ingredients out of the strainer each time you use it. These are critiques that can easily be solved by buying one or two random bits and bobs based on your needs though. The silicone mat is easy to clean and grippy, and never fails to do its job. 8/10 I definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful gift for Just about anybody. From your spouse, your family members, a housewarming present or for yourself, this set is FANTASTIC. Everything included from the holder to the tools themselves are incredibly high quality. I use them at least A day And there's not a scratch, or mark on them from all the wear and tear that I have put them through. Everything is dishwasher safe. Nothing spills or leaks out of the metal shaker. Honestly One of the best things i've ever ordered. You don't even have to be a drinker to appreciate this talking piece. Put it anywhere like in your kitchen or the bar area or the man cave for an immediate upgrade. Get one for Everyone is christmas.

Full disclosure: my son is the aspiring mixologist and he was very excited when this set came in to replace the smaller set we had, who's metal top had cracked. "It even comes with a bar mat!". Day one: cocktail mules. Day two: lemon drops. He's having too much fun with this. We need to get back to our normal routine of a fun drink for the weekends. I don't (and probably won't) be using it as much as he does, but for the home mixologist, I can't think of anything that's missing. Enjoy!

Upon opening we found the black mat which is actually pretty neat. All the tools that came with it are of a good quality. The little holder it comes with it fits every tool and fits nicely in the “liquor cabinet”

I made a virgina Famingo following the reciepe from the mocktails book and it was great. this kit came with everything to make any kind of cocktails including the black mat. The rack adds a nice counter display and good for storage.

I mostly got this to surprise my boyfriend since he kept mentioning wanting proper tools for drink mixing. It seems like this was the perfect set. It looks nice on our counter and we've used most of the pieces in the past 2 months. It's all holding up well and is easy to clean. I thought the little non-slip mat would be nearly useless, but we actually end up using that too almost every time we mix a drink.
