I give it 5 stars because it is quality made. I love it and hope that I can use it however it did not work for me. S&W M&P15 Sport II OR with CA compliant won't fit. I checked everywhere, all the forum, YouTube review, seems surely it is mil spec for the buffer tube. However, IT IS NOT for CA featureless AR. Since it is not a collapsible stock, it uses rifle stock instead of carbine stock. Edit: I was returning it, but I ended up keeping it. I order a collapsible buffer tube, replaced the one came with my M&P15. Installation for both the buffer tube and the stock only took 5 min. Looks good, and feels good. Looks, works, great and very simple to install and includes two option for where it interfaces at the buffer tube nut. Magpul has optional upgrades like a thick rubber butt pad if you want a litter more length of pull or something softer , also you can get inserts if you use QD slings. A great alternative to getting a adjustable stock pinned if you live in a Communist state like New Jersey. ... show more

Looks good, functions well and fits mil-spec buffer tube. Also, price was good. Only downside is that it doesn't come with QD cup or attachment installed, must buy separately.

Great fitting stock I used it for a homemade shot gun it's nice on the shoulder even though it's not really built for something for that recoil

Great for those folks in CA who need a "fixed" stock to be "featureless." Two adapters are provided that make the length of pull semi adjustable. Can be used with the standard "carbine" adjustable buffer tube assembly but be sure to determine whether you have the "MILSPEC" or sport buffer tube assembly and buy the right stock accordingly for proper fit.     • It is what it is ..... a fixed stock!!!
The stock is a fixed stock, it goes on and stays firm once the screw is fastened down on the side. It is the solution to my problem. the OEM stock that was a 6 position was ok but moved around to muck for my liking. The MOE fixed does not, if u need a adjustable stock find something else. If you need a stock that is about one to two positions out when compared to a 6 position when fully collapsed and moved two positions open then this is the ticket, just in fixed form. ... show more

Overall okay stock, but the cross bolt that holds stock in place was not able to pass through without modification of the existing buffer tube. I had to grind down the aluminum on the buffer tube to allow this to fit.

    • Used as adjusted length fixed stock
I wanted a lightweight, simple fixed stock that I could set the length of pull on. If you install this per the instructions you will have an short LOP, good for shorter people. This worked great for my purposes and has a nice grippy butt pad. I ended up ditching the decorative nose piece and installed the stock at my preferred length. If you put the stock anywhere other than fully slid onto the buffer tube, you will notice that the screw won’t fit through. I just drilled out the correct location for my length, using a slightly smaller bit and threaded it through. Used the stocks screw hole to guide the bit, but made sure only to drill through the buffer tube and not through to the threaded side. This shouldn’t prevent the use of a multi position stock later on, but it would not be difficult to just put a new buffer tube on... ... show more
