    • Great Bipod For A .308 HBAR AR-10

Mounted this on my AR-10 with a heavy 18" barrel. Fired 20 rounds with it mounted this morning, and found this bipod to be exactly what I was wanting and needing. Plenty sturdy with no discernable movement. I shot from a wooden bench and the tips held just fine throughout the shooting process. No skidding or having to readjust my position for follow-up shots. The tilt/cant adjustment made it very easy to sight in and lock down once I had the reticle on target. Easy to install. Fit perfectly and made shooting with it very comfortable and predictable. I have a friend who asked about borrowing it for his .338 to see if it would work for that caliber. I think I would rate this, with due caution, up to a .300 Winchester Magnum, but no more than that. While the bipod is sturdy and works for my .308, I believe a .338 surpasses what the design and material of this particular bipods' design parameters are. Bipods are great. No issues. Certainly worth getting. I ordered to mlok bipods. One box of the two was kind of crushed. Box said mlok but inside was a pic rail bipod. So I contacted them through the link provided here. Few days no response. I call and they are like well, some vendors…, um, I got it through your Amazon store…well there’s not much we can do… Ok. I ended up buying a mlok poc rail adapter set for like $10. Which is cool. I can use it. And I can use the bipod on other guns as well I guess. I’m not an operator. I’m not active duty. I’m not a veteran. I’m not LEO. I am just a very pro 2A guy in very anti 2A profession. (Hint: I get summers off). And I’m behind enemy lines in the people’s republic. You know where the governor says federal laws don’t apply and he’ll resist federal enforcement. Like it’s 1861 or something!! Anyways. If they send you the right bipod it’s great. If they don’t, I don’t know. Buy the adapter :):) ... show more
