I gotta admit Ive been a Magpul fan boy for 10+ years now. I typically go for Magpul because its affordable, its high quality and rarely do I have a fit issue. This bipod is no exception to that which is why this is the second time I have purchased this for a separate firearm. With MLOK installation is a breeze and if you're unfamiliar with MLOK the included instructions make it fairly simple to learn.. though a youtube video may also be of assistance. This is a well-priced and excellent quality bipod. There is a tiny learning curve when using it - for max stability, you have to "push forward" to keep tension on the legs (they have a little give when locked open). This isn't a flaw - it's by design. It keeps the connection between your shoulder, the stock, and the bipod positive, encouraging good shooting grip and structure. I do wish there were an intermediate position for the legs - their either fully forward (parallel to the barrel) or fully opened (perpendicular to the barrel). A nice 45 degree lock position would have made this bipod even better, allowing you to line up targets lower than your rifle more easily. Great product. :) ... show more

It is Magpul, so you know it is going to be solid. No complaints at all, it does exactly what it says. In case it isn't clear, this bipod is adjustable in three ways: the legs extend, they pivot (yaw), and they rotate (roll). That's nice, because it lets you position your rifle as needed. Installed on Magpul Hunter 700 stock. I mostly use bags to shoot off of. Bipods are excellent tools even if you shoot off bags like I do. Dropping a leg and using it to steady your rifle against a tree when having to make a standing shot. I have used it as intended though and it loads well. I wanted a light, study QD Bipod and this didn't disappoint. The ARMS mount is hard to obtain and expensive, I bought a cheap QD Rail Riser and took the rail off and the holes and screws matched up, the mount was a millimeter or so too narrow so I opened it up with a flat file, and for $16 I have a QD mount not the highest quality but will work while I wait for an ADM or ARMs one to put on the awesome bipod. ... show more

First impressions: super easy to install, acceptable quality / durability of materials, versatile elevation adjustments and pivot resistance, looks good on my AR10. There is a little play moving front and back. I suggest ‘leaning into’ the weapon when acquiring your site picture.
