The Sinclair Collection for Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines x Loloi is power- loomed of polyester, including 58% Global Recycling Standard (GRS) certified recycled polyester (made from recycled plastic bottles), certified by Control Union 1171944. Sinclair area rugs have incredible softness and durability comparable to classic power-loomed rugs, while also reducing waste in their production. This collection is also machine-washable, making it an ideal rug in high-traffic living rooms, hallways, entryways, and children’s rooms. The design features antique motifs with intricate details and slight distressing, creating a sophisticated, storied feel.

I just received the rug so can't yet comment on stain resistance or washability. It unwrapped and unrolled fairly easy. It had the typical issue with most rolled rugs where the ends curve up but I'm presuming that will loosen out over time and I have a few heavy items on the edges to speed it along. However, it's much stiffer (the underside) than rugs from Ruggable. I have several Ruggale rugs and can say that even the new Ruggable medium premium pile rugs are a bit more flexible so I wonder how well this one will do being "smooshed" up in the washing machine (I got the 5x7) . Time will tell. Also, the rug was very soft but reminded me of velour as opposed a typical rug pile. That's not necessarily a bad thing but results in it feeling less like a traditional rug which in my mind is a little bit of a downer. Also, it's actually fairly slippery so I wonder if there could be any safety hazard if someone is moving fast on the rug. The pattern and color are very pretty, albeit slightly lighter than I was expecting. I got the Clay/Tobacco style rug. I'm going to keep it because it looks good and it was a pretty good deal for a rug this size that is washable. I'll update this review if anything changes.

The rug is beautiful. The colors are amazing, and it is crazy soft. Sadly as soon as anything is set down on the surface it gets an immediate impression that needs to be pressed back. It wouldn't be bad but the impressions are all one color, and it looks like a line. IDK, enough to bother me? Not really but this isn't like a regular rug that can be walked on without it showing if the nap is directional.

I bought this rug for my living room and I am so glad I did. This is the softest rug I’ve ever purchased and the quality is excellent. Magnolia understands how to roll up a rug so it is easier on you to roll it out at home. Highly recommend.

We have a small boy dog. Once he’s peed on a carpet ONCE, it happens again. This rug is pretty cool because if you catch the pee on top quickly, it just sits on top of the fiber. That’s cool. We have a big LG front load washer. Did it on large items/oversized in warm with clean on prewash. Comes out kinda funky looking. Suggest drying in the sun outside. Once dry, vacuum so that the fibers lay properly and it looks new again.

I loved aspects of this rug, but not others. Here’s what I loved about it: washable, very soft (comfortable to sit/walk on), easily foldable and malleable, and not as thin as I would’ve thought based on the reviews. Here’s what I didn’t love about it: the color! The whole thing had a mint/light green hue to it. I thought it would be more natural colors with elements of green, but it was the opposite. If you’re looking for a rug with a green hue, then this would be great for you. If not, I would suggest looking for a different pattern/color scheme. Greener/more minty than what you see in my picture.
