We bought a different magnetic tile set and we wanted to expand it for our kids. We liked this set because it has some interesting pieces. The design on the square tiles is really cool. It was also need how when you stack two of them and hold up to light the color changes. Like if you stack the yellow and blue tile you it looks green. Maybe be a good way to teach kids about colors. The quality is good, magnets are strong and works were other sets we already have. I'm happy anytime I can get my kids to enjoy non-screen time and this fits the bill. We are happy with the product and I would recommend it to anyone interested.

I like that this is open-ended play, but I actually really like the booklet it comes with. It has instructions on how to build various things. It works with other brands of magnetic tiles so my son uses everything together to build. I might have to buy some more expansion sets so he can build everything in the book. I was skeptical about buying off-brand, but are actually good quality.

Combining a marble run with magnetic tiles is an interesting way to expand a set of magnetic tiles. But make no mistake. This set is small, unlike what the product photos show. My first photo shows a structure made using all the pieces in this set. This set was perfectly compatible with our other set of magnetic tiles. This set was a good add-on to our already large collection. There are minimal instructions included. I think a good way to use the marble run pieces is to attach magnetic tiles to each end of each of the marble tracks as shown in my second photo. There are pieces that have holes that match the track ends and there are enough of these pieces for all the tracks. This allows you to assemble a track by joining the magnetic tiles face to face as shown in my third photo. This is easier for younger builders than some of the other ways the tracks can be assembled. The set also includes 4 doors that can be snapped into magnetic tile frames. My granddaughter was thrilled with this as she always wants to add doors to her structures. Designating a standard tile as a door works but these doors are much better. I took off one star for a quality control issue. As seen in my fifth photo, the end of the marble track on the right wasn't fully formed. The track on the left has a fully formed end. The tracks need to be fully formed to be securely joined. Amazon promptly replaced the set with the defective piece.

Really fun concept to combine the magnetic tiles and ball run. Had a lot of fun setting up different configs. However has definite quality issues. Right out of the box one of the E shapes is in two pieces, with the small magnet exposed… my son took the magnets out. very dangerous for small kids. Another piece is also malformed - see picture. The tunnels might break when taken apart with little hands too. Wish it was better executed in terms of quality.
