I discovered that my titanium stove operates at roughly twice the maximum operating temperature of the fan. I was about to return it until I hit on the idea of placing a baking pan upside down on my stove top and then placing the fan on the pan -- and it worked! (You may also need a couple of magnets to keep the fan from sliding off the pan) That said, the fan doesn't really push that much air, but it definitely helps spread the heat ... show more

OK let's start with what's good. it has an overheat temp. activated leg that lifts or tilts rather off the hot surface shutting down fans and when temp. drops it resets. I do not know if this feature works or not because I never placed it on area that hot 600 degrees Fahrenheit plus. I purchased in mid Dec. 2023, and it ran and worked great until Nov. of 2024 when it just died, I'm assuming it was the thermo coup. for it would be quite a coincidence for both motors to go at the exact same time. keep in mind I have a 7-year-old single blade fan on the other side that was very expensive back then, but it still works fine. so being that the price of this one was so much less I decided to replace it because when it was working it worked well. the new one lasted 8 days and just completely shut down as the previous unit did. because I just bought it, I was able to return for a refund. before returning it I also set unit outside in single digit temps. in attempt to reset but to no avail. another good thing that they give you a magnetic thermometer to set next to fan so that you don't overheat it. however, if it does not last others any longer than they did me then anything good about this fan is worthless and I will not purchase another!! ... show more

Love this little heat propelled fan until it stopped working. However it only lasted two weeks before one of the fans seized. Continued to use it for another week and the second fan stopped working all together. Contacted customer service and they were willing to make it right with a fast response time.
