I absolutely love this rower! I would recommend it for sure! I can feel all of my muscles toning up already after just a few days…it is super quiet, and easy to put together (my husband did it in less than an hour watching the video). Such a good and quick workout!

I Don't write too many reviews, but this one was worth it. The machine works great, no issue with the screen or broken part like some of the others, may have gotten lucky? The packaging was actually almost to the point of aggravation because everything was so tightly stored. But the instructions were somewhat aggravating, misspelled words, hard to follow some of the steps, parts missing, etc.( only reason for the 4 star review), but once you put the pieces in your hands and looked at it, it was common sense to put it together. Surprised at the intensity of the 16 setting, it was pretty tough, and each step through was harder than the previous and seemed to be accurate. Longevity is the only question now, but for less than $200, you really can't go wrong with this.

So, like the others, I found this an outstanding value: I don't think you can find a better water rower at this price point made this well. I'm not even sure I understand how they can make it so affordable. I use it every morning and can't live without it. That being said, one part needed replacing. They offered to replace the whole machine, but since I'm currently living abroad and I'm handy, I just asked for the part. Even though I was past the Amazon customer service window, the company ordered the part from China and delivered it to my daughter's home so she could bring it to me. They've been incredibly helpful and responsive! You just don't find that kind of customer service anywhere these days. Very good company that stands behind their product. You can't go wrong.

UPDATE: Below is the original review I posted as the rowing machine we received had an odor issue. Strange but true! But kudos to the seller who contacted me to apoplogize and offer a full refund. We went ahead and donated the machine as the smell was too strong to have it in our home, but I hope someone else is able to enjoy it. It is not often one encounters this kind of above and beyond service so I bumped up the review stars from one to three. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't usually write reviews but haven't seen any other reviews that mention a very strong rubber smell so I wanted to share our experience. Given I didn't see any other complaints about a strong odor it is possible we may have received a defective machine? When removing the pieces from the box we weren't concerned about the odor as we assumed it would dissipate in time. After putting the machine together the smell was even stronger so we decided to air it out on our covered patio. A week later the odor is still there and still strong enough that we are not comfortable bringing it into the house so unfortunately we have to return it. :-(

I'm new to rowing. This item was well packaged. All the parts were there and in excellent condition. The instructions were well thought out and need to be followed exactly. I watched some instructional videos and have used it a few times. Everything functions smoothly and perfectly. It is ultra quiet. Note: there is a little cable tie holding the monitor cables. You will have to very carefully snip and remove the cable tie in order to mount the monitor. Otherwise, you will not be able to insert the connectors into he monitor housing after your have connected the wiring. Do all of this gently and carefully. Note 2: Do not attempt any of the assembly with pets or children around. Do not let anyone help you who thinks they are smarter than the instructions. Note 3: Do not attempt the assembly if you are in a hurry. You can't rush it. Note 4: Some of the parts are heavy. The thing will get heavier and heavier as you continue the assembly. If you cannot lift the box it comes in, have a 'passive' helper nearby. This is probably true with any other one you might buy. When assembled and in use, heavy is a very good thing. Note 5: ALL rowing machines sit close to the floor. If you have difficulty squatting or arising from a squat position, keep that in mind before purchasing. Yes, I recommend this device.
