Just mounted this in my Gladiator. I did have to cut the rubber mat inside the tray to get the correct fit. But looks great and performs great.

This phone mount feels very solid and well-made right out of the box. The materials are sturdy, and once installed, it feels secure and doesn’t seem like it will move around. That said, installation wasn’t the easiest. It didn’t come with directions, so I had to go back to the product listing to figure it out. I also had to remove part of my dash liner to install it, and since the mount only covers a small portion, it leaves the rest of that area exposed, which isn’t the best look. Assembly itself was simple once I figured it out, but usability has been the bigger issue. I have an iPhone 11, so I relied on the included metal rings for the magnetic hold. Unfortunately, the hold is very weak—even after trying both rings, it still didn’t improve much. I’ve since ordered a MagSafe-compatible case and am hoping that will make a difference. Overall, for the price, you do get a sturdy and well-built mount. However, the aesthetics after installation and the weak magnetic hold (for non-MagSafe phones) are disappointing. It may work better if you already have a MagSafe-compatible setup, but otherwise, it’s a bit frustrating to use right away.

I picked this phone mount for my wife’s 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon because she needed a reliable place to keep her phone while driving, especially during our off-road adventures. After trying several different mounts over the years, this is hands down the best one we’ve seen or used. The magnetic strength is incredible. The powerful magnet system holds her phone securely, even on rough trails, washboard roads, and bumpy backroads. Once the phone is attached, it simply doesn’t move. No shaking, bouncing, or worrying about the phone falling off when the terrain gets rough. The build quality is equally impressive. The aluminum construction feels premium and durable, and once mounted, the entire assembly feels rock solid. It looks like it belongs in the Jeep rather than being some cheap aftermarket accessory. The 360-degree adjustment is another feature we love. It’s easy to position the phone exactly where you want it for navigation, music, hands-free calls, or trail mapping. The ball joint stays tight and holds its position without slipping. Installation was quick and straightforward, and daily use couldn’t be easier. My wife can attach or remove her phone with one hand, which makes it convenient every time she gets in and out of the Jeep. Most importantly, it performs exactly as a phone mount should. Whether we’re driving around town or tackling off-road trails, her phone stays secure and easy to see. Excellent fit, premium quality, incredibly strong magnetic hold, and perfect for Jeep owners. This is easily the best phone mount we’ve ever used. Five stars!

This mount is very sturdy. THe material seems pretty well made. The magnet is very stong and keeps the phone from moving during th ride. The price is a pretty good for what you get. The mount fit right on the dash and was not very hard to install at all. it functions as it should and keeps the phone secure. the material doesnt feel cheap and in fact feels like it should hold up well. It has a nice range of motion for positioning to your liking. It is worth the price i would say

The product comes packaged in an easy to open box for quick assembly. The problems start with the set-up, however. There are no included instructions and the listing does not make it clear. Removing the trim panel is easy and installing the mount is easy, but it does not look good with the rest of the trim panel missing. It opens up more places for dust to accumulate. The holder itself includes two rings which I assume are supposed to be magnetic, but are completely demagnetized. They do not stick to each other, nor to body on the vehicle. The ball mount is made of fairly cheap plastic, as is the neck armature that holds it to the dash mount. While they fit to the mount after some force, and they hold firm, the mount lacks any method to hold a phone. As there are no magnets included, nor a grabber to actually hold a device, it is functionally and practically useless. Overall with all the issues including including no instructions, no magnets, and bad quality of manufacture, I cannot in any way recommend this product. For the price, the value proposition is sorely unredeemable.

Theo product claimed to be for a jeep wrangler 4xe, however there were no instructions and I couldn’t figure out how to install it. From what I see in other reviews, the 4xe doesn’t have the same compartment on the dash for this to mount to. The product did seem well made, just doesn’t work for the vehicle itself advertised for.

The strong Magnetic Grip uses heavy-duty magnets to keep your phone from sliding or falling off even during rock crawling and rugged terrain in your Jeep. Although it shows its for the 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler, I have it mounted only using the magnet base in my 1996 Jeep Cherokee for the strength of the magnets.

This phone mount almost nails it. The magnetic hold is strong enough for normal driving, and the 360° rotation makes it easy to angle your phone for maps or music. The placement on the dash is convenient, and installation is quick — definitely a plus. But here’s where it loses stars: in a Wrangler or Gladiator, you need gear that can handle bumps, rattles, and the occasional “why is this road shaped like that” moment. This mount does okay on smooth streets, but once the ride gets rough, the phone can shift or wobble more than I’d like. The MagSafe connection works, but only if your case is thin; anything bulkier weakens the hold. It’s a decent everyday mount for light driving, but not the most confidence‑inspiring option for off‑road or uneven terrain. Good idea, decent execution, just not quite rugged enough for a Jeep lifestyle.
