I am not happy with this purchase. The magnets are not strong enough to hold a very thin sheer curtain panel. I got them for my French metal doors. I can’t use the bottom rod or they will fall off of the door. They are super easy to install. But need to be stronger magnets. If they are not on a high traffic area like a door, maybe they would do fine. ... show more

The endcap for the rods is attached to the magnets. The holes are so small that the rod will not go into the endcaps and stay. After several attempts I just taped the rod the magnetic attachment until I can get something different. These are awful. I would not recommend purchasing these. I had a different set that I had used for over 20 years that I was replacing with these. These just don't work. ... show more

I love the look of these. They look like an expensive piece, even though the pricing is very competitive to other brands. I have had these for a couple of months. They’ve been sturdy enough to hold up my heavy duty blackout curtains, and they also generally stay in place when my 2 year old is tugging on them. However, they have “fallen” twice (pulled viciously down by a toddler..) In the small tumbles they took off the door, I’ve had 2 magnets pop out of the sockets they’re supposed to be in. It’s been an easy fix, but I’ve found it is a problem with how they are originally adhered together (whatever adhesive they used seems to not withstand well. Some superglue fixes it easily). For this reason, I give it a 4 star instead of 5. Overall, I love that I purchased these. They help tie together my foyer and give a very classy look.     • Strong magnets and perfect size
Purchased these magnetic curtain rods for the window on my French window front door. The magnets are strong and do not fall off of the door during normal opening and closing. It takes some, but not much, force to bump them off the door while adjusting the curtain, but not a deal breaker. I’m happy with them and would purchase again. ... show more

If I wouldn't have had to whittle one of the ends, I would have given this a 5 star. Directions specifically show: Rod Finish Matched 2 Different End The end with the mark "IN" match inner/thinner rod The end with the mark "OUT" match outer/thicker rod. I received 3 "IN" and 1 "OUT". Rather than returning and hoping to get the correct ones, I whittled the inside so the rod would fit. Otherwise, love them! ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised at how well these work for holding up our sidelight sheers on either side of my front door. They’re very sturdy and secure as well as extremely easy to install. The only thing I don’t like is that the corners of the finials are very pointy (*sharp) which is completely unnecessary to their overall function and appearance. *If someone tries to break in through your front door, you could use one of these as a weapon (I’m sort of being serious).     • One Wrong Endcap, Otherwise Happy
The end caps are labeled IN and OUT. The in is for the smaller end of the rod and the out is for the larger end of the rod. I received one too many INs. I had to use the open section behind the rod holder opening. It looks odd. I purchased a 4 pack and a 2 pack of these rods. All the other 11 endcaps fit just fine.     • So cheaply made....
I can say that it looks like the picture but the ends are plastic. The casing over the magnets detaches itself from the magnet. So your stuck trying to lift the magnet without scarring your door. I wasn't able to find these at any of my local retailers. I really didn't want to pay so much for these but really didn't have a choice. Once you have them in place, I'm sure they will be fine. Don't place the rods until you have the curtain length figured out. ... show more
