This rod was delivered today so haven't had a chance to use it yet but my goodness what a beauty of a rod. Whoever put this together really loves what their doing. I admired it for half an hour before I set it down. I can't get over the quality of the materials used and the details and how well it was put together. I got the 6.6 light action spinning and putting a 500 size reel on. The action feels great and the rod is very light and balanced. Heck I like it so much I just placed an order for a 7' ML, it will be here tomorrow. Can't wait to get out and do some inshore fishing with these babies. Just an FYI, I do alot of inshore kayak fishing, mostly with BFS and light gear. I have an extensive collection of rods and reels, way more than any one person should have its just crazy. This is a really nice rod for the price and anyone who picks one up won't regret it. OK liked it so much I ended up with 4 of these. Folwup-Dec 3rd- finally got to try these out, first cast with 662L, 1 lb sand trout, at the kayak 6 in of the end broke off. Tied the same lure onto the 702ML, on casting for the first time 10 in of the end broke off. Made it thru rest of day with second 662L, no fish but it still in one piece. Left the 3rd 662L at home. Waiting to hear back from Handing.

I needed a Heavy-Fast rod for bass fishing an Alabama rig. I knew there was only one place to look, Handing! This rod was everything that I expected, I already have 7 other Handing rods, and they are my number one choice. Lightweight, strong, and built with excellent craftsmanship. It is truly beautiful to look at in the sun while chasing bass out on the lake. For this price point, you will not find a better-built carbon rod. I kayak bass fish for both largemouth and spotted and wanted a 2-piece rod so that it was easy to transport. I found the Harding brand on Amazon last year and purchased an MH Fast action cast rod for worm fishing. Out of the package I was impressed by the quality of the Fuji guides and carbon work. Then I needed an MH Moderate action for jerk baits. Next thing you know, I had a full lineup of Harding rods. Late fall/early winter I wanted to try their Heavy Fast rod for Alabama rig fishing. I was not disappointed. Cons: Balance, although not the fault of the rod, just depends on which reel I mount. I can' really say this is a con, I have plenty of reels to choose from. Pros: Price, this is a $100+ all day long if it wasn't made by Handing. Great reel seat, I have not had a loose reel all year, and it is very easy to remove the reel if I need to. Sensitivity, A+ I can tell when my A-rig had grass on it, or if a blade wasn't spinning. Guides, no chips or loose guides yet. Carbon work, it's beautiful! Haven't lost a tip or even thought I might snap the rod. Very sturdy! Cork grips, holding up very well. You will not be disappointed with the Handing Magic L casting or spinning rods. They are amazing for the price!

I ordered the 6'6" light action spinning rod. First off. I have many different rods from budget to high end, so I have plenty of experience handling different rods. I have Shakespeare micro series all the way up the megabass and gloomis. The build quality of this rod is very good for the price. The guides are straight and the cork is decent quality. The handle felt firm and comfortable. No complaints there. The rod weighs in at 4.17 oz., which is kind of heavy for a light action rod. For the price, I wouldn't expect a super light weight rod, but it shouldn't be this heavy. Even though the weight is on the heavier side the balance wasn't bad. I didn't notice it being tip heavy at all. I did mount a daiwa regal LT 1000 on it, and it felt pretty good. I also mounted a piscifun carbon x 1000 on it and the balance was still fairly good. The balance was good with both a heavier reel and a lighter one. My biggest complaint is the handle length. Its longer than most of my other rods at this length. It kept poking against my side any time the rod would move. I'm surprised nobody else have mentioned this yet. For this reason, unless you have really long arms, i wouldn't recommend this rod. Its still a good rod for the price. I just didn't like the longer handle. It the handle was a few inches shorter, it would be a great rod.

I actually got one from work liked initial feel order another, Well , 4 months later they are both broke, cheap carbonfiber plastic so week,, So weak and poor quality go to walmart anywhere buy there generic better than this product,,I gave these con man 2 poles ($100),,,they feel good thats all, poor quality

I had communications with the main Handing in China way before they started selling on Amazon. They never answered back though i tried several times. So when i saw this rod on Amazon i purchased it. Because it originated from China it did take over 2-weeks to arrive to the USA. So unless they get an American agent expect a slight delay though 2-weeks wasn't that bad. The box that was used was 1st rate & strong. Big plus for that. The rod came in a tough but beautiful rod bag! Wasn't expecting that. Another plus. So i reviewed it. The 8ft ML spinning model. Had 8+1 guides. Fuji components. Light-weight seat with cork & EVA with a a split grip for gripping & weight loss. No hook keeper but didn't need one. Rated up to 15g (roughly 1/2oz) but can easily toss 20g with not much rod tip stress (not noticeable). Now if it was a longer carbon blank at ML then yes, you would feel that extra weight. In other words the length matched the components and 30T blank perfectly. So how can you tell if i'm seriously honest about my review? Simple. I just ordered another rod exactly the same. How's that for being honest & serious. Why? Thinking of using braid on one rig for shoreline jigging and possibly mono on the other for light top-water lures. Will take in a rod carrier with the 2 rigs.
