My old box spring was a wood frame, cloth material. A nine high inch box. My dogs are getting older and were having a hard time getting on the bed. This 5 inch box spring was perfect and solved the dog problem. The frame install was fairly easy. Comfort is wonderful, not noisy at all, very strong and fit perfectly on my old queen box frame. I would purchase again. For the install I used a cordless ratchet driver with a 10mm socket. Much quicker. Install in the same room.

Excellent value for the money and is as stable as it gets. There has been zero creaking or noise and nothing seems like it's being stressed or a potential for failure. So far it seems like the most stable/sturdy box spring i've had in a long time. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a bed frame that will last awhile. It wasn't hard to put together but does take a little bit of time 40-60min. I would also stress to tighten things carefully and make sure everything is squared-up properly before finally tightening everything really well. I think that also helps making sure there are no creaks. Overall quite impressed.

Purchased the queen box spring assembly. 5-star rating for the overall product itself. It is about 59-1/2" wide which sits within a 60" bed frame nicely (your bed frame should typically have a 1/2" lip on each side rail for the box spring to lay upon). Construction seems sturdy, I see no obvious reason it should or would fail structurally, time will tell. 3-star rating for assembly. The premise is simple, however, count on crawling around all over the floor like a kid in order to assemble (not so easy for this old body of mine!) The screws are coated with some kind of blue-vinyl on the threads, making it difficult to thread the nuts on the ends of the screws by hand or even with the useless cheap wrenches supplied. Do yourself a favor right from the start - find a 10mm wrench, and a cordless drill with an allen wrench attachment. It will save you from much displeasure, just do not tighten down all the bolts until everything is assembled. The corner pieces are a complete hassle. I had no less than 3 screw holes that were not threaded properly from factory. I needed to improvise, rethread them. Needless to say, I had choice words for this company by then! Cover is nice material, though it should have a better fastening system than just 2 pieces of velcro. This will NEVER hold over time. Looks good though after assembly, so I split the difference in rating the product and gave it 4-stars.

Easy to follow instructions. A lot more parts that I thought there would be, but it went together easily with the help of a cordless power drill. Don't tighten until everything is lined up. Also, I placed felt/rubber pads between the metal of this frame and the wood slats beneath. It is great to have such a firm foundation with no squeaks. We placed a foam mattress above it and it works perfect.

Pleasantly surprised about this. We have a California King. I was skeptical but this is really nice. It’s seems to be good quality and sturdy. It was fairly easy to put together and took me about 2 hours by myself. The parts were labeled and I did not have any issues with assembly. I found it helpful to use both tools provided at the same time-one to hold and one to tighten. No squeaks with mattress on and seems very solid.
