I needed to replace the sagging cushions on my couch. Based on the description provided with the item, I selected this product not only did it arrive three days earlier, which helped because I could start my project sooner the foam was packed neatly and compact. It was easy to trim the excess from the cushion to fit my existing cushion covers with a crafters X-Acto blade. The cushions are firm and are just as they were when I first purchased the couch. Bought this foam to repair an old seat cushion on an arm-chair sofa seat that lost its firm feel. The seat would sink down to the bottom and I would feel a strain on my lower back and spine. So I cut this new foam easily to the right size using a knife. Fit it into the seat's zippered pillow case after removing the old padding. Now the seat feels like new. As described. Easy to cut to size. Firmer than I expected but in the long run will last much longer than the original chair cushion. I think too firm for a couch that one would lay on. I was able to remove the old batting and reuse it for this project. Overall, good product. No smell upon opening of the package which was a nice surprise. ... show more

This foam worked great for my puppy window perch I made for my mini aussie. I thrifted a 2x2 side table and the 2x2 cut foam fit perfectly! I bought a cushion cover, put it on the foam, then stapled the cover to a 2x2 piece of plywood and screwed it on the table. It was really nice that I didn't have to deal with trying to cut the foam to size. The foam is a little stiff, but I imagine with time it will wear a little bit.
