👉 For anyone skimming: stable, functional, heavy (in a good way), super comfortable, and absolutely worth the price. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the OKUP M80 chair, but I’m glad I went for it. My old chair left my back sore after a couple hours, and I kept having to shift around. This one feels way more solid and the dual motor adjustment is actually really nice — I can kick the footrest up without reclining all the way, or lean back almost flat when I want to take a quick break. The functionality is great: smooth motorized controls, wide range of reclining angles, and the ability to fine-tune the back and footrest separately. It’s also very stable — no wobbling or shaky feeling even when fully reclined. The chair is definitely on the heavier side, but honestly that adds to the quality. It doesn’t feel flimsy at all, and you can tell it’s built to last. It really feels like an upgrade to my office setup — this chair doesn’t cut corners. The beige color is lighter than I expected but still fits my space well, and the wide seat gives plenty of room. Assembly took me around 20–25 minutes by myself. What I also love is the full recline — after work I can lay it all the way down and watch a movie comfortably, which is a nice bonus I didn’t get with my old chair. ... show more

Great chair, the leather is nice and durable feeling and the motor controls are smooth. I work at a desk and like to put my feet up and this doesn't put the stress on my knees like a foot stool. Assembly isn't bad at all and user manual explains the controls. As a bigger man (6'0" 255 lbs) this chair is comfy and feels perfectly capable of supporting me. One thing they don't tell you is the shipment comes in two separate boxes but you only get one tracking numbers. Contact the seller if you want the 2nd one. They might not come on the same day which is kind of annoying but that's just how it's shipped. Seller was responsive to my messages and helped explain things. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I purchased this chair for my home office and overall I'm pleased with the quality. The dual motor system works smoothly and the reclining function is very comfortable. The leather material feels premium and the build quality seems solid. The footrest is a nice feature for relaxing during breaks. One thing to note - this is a LARGE chair. If you're on the shorter side or have limited space, definitely check the dimensions carefully before purchasing. It's designed for bigger individuals and takes up more room than a standard office chair. The assembly was straightforward and the instructions were clear. Customer service from the seller was responsive when I had questions. There's a lot to unpack here. First, I'd like to say that UKUP's communication is excellent. The chair comes in two shipments to meet FedEx weight requirements. When the second shipment was delayed by the shipper, i contacted OKUP and received a reply within 24 hours, detailing the shipping procedure and timeline. Assembly was easy, albeit somewhat heavy. Having someone to assist in assembly will be a plus. After assembly, the chair is very comfortable and looks fabulous. The controls are very intuitive but slightly out of reach. Other than being able to get your feet higher than your heart, it is nearly zero gravity. It''s not a wall-hugger, so plan for space in front and behind when fully reclined. The construction and fabric is top quality and I can attest that any spills clean easily with a damp cloth. So far, I'm loving this chair and will update if my opinion changes for any reason, whether good or bad. ... show more

Update - 25/05/31 Amazon stepped in to assist as quite some time had lapsed from my attempt to reach the seller. They offered a refund. Eventually the seller surfaced (thru Amazon) and complained they were unaware of my attempts to reach them. (???) I sent them pictures of the defective and damaged things for the chair. They seemed interested in fixing with a design/manufacturing change ( a little late for me after I already purchased a bad chair). I have no ideal how long it would take to get the issue resolved and improved chairs became available (if at all). The comfort of the chair is sub-par for what I expected. I can definitely feel the frame of the seat thru the cushion. This is not what I wanted especially after spending a lot for this adjustable chair. This purchase experience was a swing and a miss for me. Orig Review: I can't blame all of this on the current horrendous political mess with our international relations (read that as tariff tantrums!), but it definitely does not help. The company / seller has no intention of supporting their product. They are using the "take the $ and run" for their approach apparently. I received a chair that was broken/defective before it was put in the shipping boxes. Like other reviewers have experienced, the left arm pad was never attached properly. I didn't notice this until my final steps of trying to get the arms assembled to the chair which was more difficult as the holes wouldn't line up properly for the bolts. The padding on the top of the arm uses something similar to large tacks and that is somehow pierced into the arm frame. Very poor design. I tried to reach the seller thru the site for a replacement arm. I was willing to reassemble the arm to the chair myself. As others have noted, too, you will not hear back from the seller. The chair's padding on the seat appears nice for a cushion, but within a short time I can feel parts of the frame underneath. What will this be like after a few months of use? The side panel is covered with a leather-like material (vinyl?). A small split appeared along an edge on the right side panel. This part would not be easy to replace so I'm considering what to use to keep the split from growing with time. Definitely quality control is lacking so why not just pawn the products off on Amazon? Ouch. Repacking and trying to get everything nice for shipping is a huge task in itself. The boxes are large and heavy so good luck with that effort. Forget any help from the seller with a pickup order. They are vaporware. I really did try to like most of the features of this particular model. I wanted an adjustment for the seat tilt but that is not an option. At first glance, the chair "looks" nice. Tarnished by what I experienced so far, I'm having doubts about its durability and longevity after use, though. Should one of the motors or the battery stop working, you will lose all the usability features of the chair. Ouch. Unfortutately, there are other sellers on the site selling a similar product. As it turns out, all sellers are all within a short distance from each other in the same warehouse district and selling the same products. Suspect? Even at twice the price, there are very few options available in this market niche. My search continues ... buyer beware. ... show more

I sit in front of a computer in this chair most of the day and I find it to be very comfortable. It is very stable. My only complaint is that I wish the foot rest was a little longer. I am 6'1" and my feet hang over the end when fully reclined. However, that is not a deal breaker for me because most of the time I am sitting in front of the computer with me feet on the floor. ... show more

Updated review: 1/10/2026 I have had this chair now for about 5 months. It has certainly taken on some wear. The armrests are now loose. This is likely due to the single bolt design for fastening the two points of contact from the armrest to the chair. There is very little lumbar support, and long sessions using this chair sitting upright can become uncomfortable on the back. This is also exacerbated by the seat depth. It is very deep. I am 5'11" and the backs of my knees are pressed into the front of the edge of the seat should I be sitting upright with the chair in normal mode. In addition, the actual fully upright position of the seat back is still leaning too far back at an angle. This should be corrected by pushing the back 10-15 degrees forward for future designs. The material does not breathe well, and it is easy to get sticky or sweaty in the chair after extended use. I still think this is a good chair, and mostly well made with some minor design flaws. However, knowing what I know now, I likely would not have purchased this chair and continued looking. *Old review with initial impressions* The chair is very comfortable, and easy to assemble. It's very sturdy and well made. The material is also soft, and feels good to the touch. The motors are quiet, and in general function very well. The chair also looks quite sharp. The chair is substantial, and weighs quite a bit, which adds to the luxury for me. If you are looking for a chair that can double as a task chair, and a lounger, this is the one. One thing to note is that the chair does come in two boxes that are quite large. My deliveries came several days apart. Not a deal breaker, but just unexpected. ... show more
