Fantastic Tool / Gadget. Got this at a good price. I'm glad I did. The Resolution is great, the function of this equals thousand dollar commercial grade Thermal Cameras. It works automatically, changing temperature ranges depending on what you are pointing it toward, you can also adjust the emissivity and color pallet to your needs. It has a Great Range of detection, and for what I can tell , it seems very accurate. Whether you are checking for Heat, or Cool air leaks in your house, detecting hot parts on a Car or Engine, even what appliances or electrical things are drawing power in your home, the heat shows up on this. Lots of other applications I haven't explored yet, but will soon. The camera feels quality made, and works well, with my Android Phone. I just plug it in after the initial setup, and the app starts, and I can go right to work. I don't have to worry if the Battery is charged up, because it works right off my phone battery and doesn't seem to use much power at all. Sure hope this lasts, I am finding it very Helpful !

So from a hardware perspective, this thermal cover works just as advertised. In fact, the company includes thoughtful features like an extension USB c to USBC added on USba connector. The reason that the added cable is extremely nice is that it means that you don't have to have the thermal camera directly connected to your phone. My only complaint, and it's not even big enough for me to remove the five-star rating. Is that the software can be difficult to navigate. The software still does everything you could want and then some, but people are going to want to take the time to familiarize themselves where everything in the software actually is. For example, you have to go and do your profile to change the preferences from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and then go back into the camera for the temperature difference to show. To be honest, for most people, this isn't a big issue as they will either stick to Fahrenheit or Celsius depending on why they're using the thermal camera, and I'm happy that the feature is there, it's just knowing where to look to change the temperature type is not not where one might expect it to be. Still, I keep finding wonderful uses for this camera, and it has worked great every time I've needed it.

Camera works very well. I use it in my production plant to look for hotspots in electrical and mechanical equipment. The multiple temperature points it gives at the same time is very helpful. Image is good And it doesn't seem to drain the battery of my cell phone significantly.

Works exactly as I hoped, at a very fair price. I thought of getting one of the "all-in-one" thermal cameras (with handle and screen), and I'm glad I didn't--because it focuses on being a thermal camera alone, it seems to give more "bang for the buck." This one attaches easily to my Galaxy S23 phone (with a case), and the resulting image on the phone's screen is very good, and contains all the relevant information. One thing I found useful: Attach the thermal camera with its lens facing the opposite direction from the phone's screen. That way, it is easier to hold and use, and without a concern of fingers getting into the thermal camera's site.... (Most--but not all--of the accompanying pictures show the thermal camera attached this way.)

Great thermal imaging camera. I was impressed with this one! It's better than my FLIR brand one that cost $100+ MORE than the M256. It has lots of configurations to suit your needs, takes photos and videos that you can save to your phone, and doesn't have any major lag when videoing. The nice thing is, when plugged into your phone, the phone powers the camera (with very little battery drain on your phone!) so no charging the camera before use like w/ FLIR cams. I uploaded a pic so you can get an idea of image quality. The pic is from my bedroom looking towards the door going out onto a balcony on a day it was 90+ degrees outside and the sun had been shining on the outside of the door w/ window. I definitely recommend this!
