Works fantastic. The batteries are nice to have if you are on the Milwaukee M18 bandwagon. Shipping was a little rough on the box, but the product arrived in perfect condition. The battery charger is fantastic and the giant 18.0 high output batteries are awesome. I mow my 1/3 acre lot weekly, I typically finish with 1/2 charged batteries. I usually unload about 5 bags total from the mowing. The side discharge and mulching plug fit great, but I always bag. The adjustable self-propel walking speed is fine-tuned enough to nail the exact speed you're looking for. The adjustable blade speed is interestering, where it will run the blade at a mild speed, but kick it up to full-power if the grass is thick. I'll often disable it with a press of the button, but its probably good if you're trying to extend your battery life. Yes, there are headlights, but I never have needed them. The mower is still loud from the blade spinning, but certainly no where near as loud as a gas mower! I was hoping this was light enough for my younger kids to mow, but its still heavy like a regular mower. I'd say weight is 80% of a gas mower, and 65% the amount of noise of a gas mower. If I can get this to last 3 years, it'll be better than any gas mower I've bought. Amazon has a sale on this for only $899 in the middle of winter. If you can get it on sale, its a big savings given the two giant batteries, and charger come with it. ... show more

Already an owner of other Milwaukee M18 cordless tools (drill, multi-tool, circular saw, sawzall, hedger, 6" and 16" chainsaws, leaf blower and weed eater) .. this lawnmower seems a natural addition. Yes, it is pricy, and Yes I love it. I'm able to mow my entire yard (about 8,000sf) using only half of the provided 12.0Ah batteries. I put them on the charger the night before mowing. And, of course, those batteries all fit the other tools (except the 6" chainsaw which uses the M12 battery). Side note: I've purchased "knock-off" M18 batteries which both failed just over the 1 year warranty; never doing that again. This mower provides 3 ways of handling the grass clippings: Bagger, Side Discharge and Mulch. Self propelled with variable speeds which allows me to decide how much exercise I need. Simple all-wheel height adjustment with a single lever. Headlight (4 of them), though I prefer to be a day-mower LOL. Height adjustable handle, which also folds flat and designed to store upright and take up much less space. Remember, no gas or oil to leak out, and none of that smell in my garage. It's also very quiet, and so easy to "start" and stop. The mower deck is made of metal and there are handles front and back which makes it so easy to move and store. I have read cautionary tales about not hitting sticks or ROCKS and the potential of damaging the motor housing, to which that end I am extra careful. Did I mention, No More Gas to Buy and Store? ;) ... show more

    • Don’t think just buy it!
I mowed 13in of neglected green lawn. Wow! Besides for emptying the bag 30 times it ate the grass like a champ! By the way I set it at 3in instead of the highest setting. I am very impressed. Better than any gas rig I have ever had.

My unit was not new. The batteries were installed on the unit and the mower turned on inside of the box as the delivery driver was dropping it off in my garage

    • Great Mower a little priciey but better than the Ego
The lawn mower goes through weeds crab grass like they are nothing plenty of power for the thick stuff. I even used it to vacuum grass off a side walk, the plastic deck of the Ego won’t allow it. Great mower to do fall leaf cleanup. It’s expensive but very well built.

If you're a Milwaukee cordless guy (or girl) and have been considering buying this lawn mower I'd suggest spending the money. I will say that I actually have not mowed with it yet (middle of the winter in Maine) but so far I am impressed with the design, the quality, and the features of this lawn mower. I tried it out in my shop and couldn't believe how fast the self propelled speed can go! I feel like turning this into a ride on lawn mower! Lol! ... show more
