These are very nice, easy to install and would have given 5 stars, but the part that is supposed to tighten up on the end to help stabilize the blind doesn't tighten up very well, had to use a thicker piece of pad at the end to make sure it's tight. Works great !

I saw this type of curtain in my friend's house and eager to get mine. This product provides two ways to install it: inside the frame (spring tension) and outside the frame (screw the brackets on the wall or wood). The locations of the bracket could be very flexible. At the end you could slide in the nice cover on top. I did not install this type of curtain before, so I read the instruction for 10 minutes including how to set the highest and lowest level. The actual installation is only 5 minutes. It looks really good in my bathroom and blocks the outside light very well. The remote-controlled motor works quiet and smoothly. The only thing I don't know is how long the motor will last. It definitely worth a try! ... show more

    • These are well made but the instructions suck.

OMG. I spent, literally, 10 hours trying to get these blinds to recognize the bottom stop for the remote control. First of all, the instructions are ridiculously hard to understand. For example it says press "M" button for 2". Is that 2 times? 2 seconds? 2 minutes? 2 inches? While the blind moves 2"? Who knows, so you try all renditions. The M button only stays activated for 60 seconds while you set the bottom code. Almost forgot to mention that the remote has to be taken apart to program it and it is incredibly flimsy inside. The screw would have been easy to lose so I appreciated a different reviewers tip about that. To program the bottom stop, you have to do several things in the exact right sequence, like press M until the blind moves, then click Admin, then press S until the blind moves, then move the blind with the remote that is disassembled, so hard to do, to the bottom location, then hold down the down-arrow button until the blind moves. Since I mounted inside the window with wooden blinds, I couldn't reach the 'M" button so had to take the thing off the wall every time I re-tried this sequence in a different way (M only lasts 60 seconds) because I couldn't understand the instructions. So - literally - 10 hours later, they work. I was hoping to buy the hub and set up the app, but I think I'm going to throw in the towel and pray the batteries hold out in the remote for a while. That said, they do a good job of blackout, thermal, and sound-proofing and are easy to use once you figure it all out. I'm going to be sure not to lose THESE instructions! ... show more

These remote blinds weren't hard to install (getting my old blinds off and cleaning up the area to install them was more of a challenge.) Quality product. Works as advertised. The thing that sold me was the 'no drill inside mount' feature. That said, as advertised, they were very easy to install, easy to operate and control with the remote (or the phone app using the smart bridge hub), and very quiet and smooth when opening or closing. The blinds themselves do entirely block out the light; however, the downside is that there is some light leak at the top and sides (side light leak can be fixed with some light-blocking strips.) All said, I have bought 4 more of these blinds, and they are all working great so far and am very happy with my purchase and recommend them to anyone who wants to upgrade their home blinds. ... show more
