We rent a house and didn’t want to do any permanent changes to the home. We needed lighting in our dining/ family room area. I was looking for something we could use for ceiling and this worked out perfect. The light can be bright and can be seen through the woven twine. We placed sheets of tissue paper in the inside to not make it glare so much. There is an on/off switched placed towards the end of the chord making it easy for us to turn lights on and off. There are also switches above each light as well so you can choose to how many lights you would like on/off. Looks and made great, easy to set up. Just plug it in. ... show more

They do exactly as advertised, and they appear even better in person than they do when looking at photos on Amazon.

    • Love These

I was so happy to come across these lights! They were perfect for the fixture I was building for the center of a sort of rustic wood ceiling patio. I made a box with wood slats where the lights could hang through and the box and all the extra cords can sit in the top. I am still searching for some lampshades to use with them, but think it will be fun to be able to change those shades out easily. I have to say that the screw part to attach the lamps shades is sort of shallow so while I think a shade with a metal ring would be fine. I’d be a little leery of using a glass shade that has any depth to the area around the collar. I used two sets of three for this light. ... show more

For under $10 i definitely recommend! It is a perfect length and for reference my ceilings are taller than standard ceilings so it is definitely long enough! I really like the switch on this as well
