Second one I've been through. First one LITERALLY smoked up and burnt out with only a continuous 90-100w load WITH solar panels giving it an additional 25a alongside x3 100Ah AGM batteries. I should have read more of the reviews before purchasing. Second one now powers on but won't take a 900w load. Nor will it take a 1600w half second peak load. Ridiculous. Paid a lot for this and my cheapo old one works better and it's half the rating. So now I gotta return a second one. I'm an electrician and technician by trade, and this thing is garbage. I have this in my work van to keep my cordless tool batteries charging. No problem’s i had it two years . Be sure to use a heavy duty relay if your not directly contacting it to battery. I use a toggle switch to activate mine and melted my first relay , I like being able to leave it wired in and switch on as needed . ... show more

I bought this item in hopes of using it for camping. I have a solar panel, 12volt battery, on my pop up camper. I had hoped to run the small refrigerator and a couple lights using this inverter. When I finally got to hook it up a few weeks ago, I kept getting a failure light on the inverter when hooking it directly to the camper power system via extension cord. After some research I discovered this inverter, despite its Amazon info, would not power my refrigerator. It is a modified sine unit. I need a pure sine unit. Since I didn’t get to test it until after the 30 day return window, LVYUAN is refusing to help and keeps referring me to Amazon... I was hoping to exchange the once used unit for what I need. LVYUAN won’t even offer a reasonable discount for a replacement. Worst CS I think I’ve ever experienced. They have a chat function on their web site. When you use it you might get a response the next day, maybe. And, they have done nothing but act like their concerned, keep leading me to believe they’ll do something, but the changing course.... frustrating.
