The Bolts for the bracket that Bolt it to the bracket that hooks the Main Mounting assembly bar to the base of the electrical box on the wall .were way too long. Could not get it to tighten down all the way I probably could’ve used washers behind it but I didn’t feel like going down the ladder again lol . so I had to use my old bolt for the mounting plate so I had to drill out the little crossbar because my original two screw were too fat and would not go into the new adapter plate because they were too fat .The photo that you see was my old adapter bar Bracket, but that’s what was happening with the new one. tonight will be the maiden voyage, but really easy to install. I like the price I like the three lights it’s gonna work well I got five years out out of my old lights I paid a lot of money for them also. I would recommend This product and it’s a lot cheaper than the Box stores I did a price comparison It’s a great deal. but it should have some shorter bolts for next time to make it more DYI, friendly for the mounting box bracket bar just in case, but I made it work you always will run into hiccup problems, especially when you’re mounting to different electrical boxes outside nothing to be afraid of. good quality for an affordable price easy install. One week after installing update the lighting is good and works well at night. The sensor also works very well. Just make sure you drill out the mounting plate for the two screws. If you need to check before you climb no big deal if you have to my electrical boxes were newer, and my Screws were fatter but in all I did have to drilled out just a little bit to make it fit through. No big deal. highly recommend ... show more

This light was purchased to a failed Mercury Vapor motion light fixture. The installation was straight forward. It is brighter than the Mercury Vapor version. The two lights provide more light to the desired area due to their adjustability. Plastic material seams durable and very functional.

The price is very competitive. It works as intended, the sensor is very good. Is very sensitive and works well.There are some parts in plastic that I wish were in metal, time will tell if the water resistant holds well. I did not had any problems with the adjustment

After I reviewed this product Lutec customer service contacted me and replaced the defective light. The new one works flawlessly. This is the first and only experience I have ever had of a company actively taking steps to deal with a problem in their product. Edited from: (Puts out a brilliant white light when it works. Unfortunately, the motion detector is essentially worthless. The only way I could get the light to work was to put it into test mode and use on and off switch. The round body is plastic and the light housings are powder coated metal. A 4" weather resistant round box in the appropriate color should be installed first and the mounting bar that comes with the lamp hardware can be installed. A single fine thread Phillips head screw hold the entire assembly to the mount. Seemed solid but I wondered as I was tightening the screw if enough was going to be too much. I purchased two lights. One is mounted on my shed and the other lights the deck. After installation of both lights I adjusted so the yard and deck are well lighted when the lights are activated. The three lights can be adjusted to illuminate a wide area. The lights from one so not interfere with the operation of the other. They are opposite one another and about 30 feet apart. The sensitivity of the motion sensors do not seem to be calibrated correctly. Even at the most sensitive higher distance setting the lights don't come on until a person approaching is fifteen feet away. Adjusting the angle of the sensor has not made much difference. It is too soon to tell how weather resistant these lights will be but they do throw off a sufficient amount of light for our needs. ... show more
