I installed soon as I received in my covered carport. Easy to install, though I had to strip the leads a little more. Adjust the lights. Turn the power back on for the switch. Flip the switch and it lights bright. Though it is under cover, finished with caulking around the fixture. You're done in about 30 minutes. This is not what you want to do: The previous owner used string patio lights to light the carport during the overnight. That's all fine and well until the bulbs need to be replaced. To reach the bulbs, you needed a tall, folding ladder ... and you're not going to ask your new neighbors, "Do you have a tall, folding ladder that I can borrow?" More to the point, don't use string patio lights for security lighting. It may look pretty, but you want something that is bright, something more reliable. At least with LED, it should last a few years. ... show more

I can't give an actual review for this item since it was delivered somewhere else. Tracking says "handed directly to the person at reception or front desk". We live in a single family home in the burbs, so... My previous experience with this brand has all been positive, so I have no reason to think this fixture wouldn't have been another 5 star worthy light. It was easy to Install and brightens up the back yard. But, it is not motion sensor It stays on unless you shut it off yourself. We most likely get one that is motion sensor. However it's very nice and LED and it is definitely bright
