Very easy installation, everything needed was supplied and it fit perfectly. There was even a grounding screw that my last fixture didn't have. The motion sensor has 3 settings, lo med high, I currently have it set to high and it's working out to 45'. With some adjustment I think that distance could be increased. The timer also has 3 settings, 1 min 3 min & 10 min, and works as expected. The sockets are adjustable allowing you to get the light where you want it. I've only had this up for a few days but so far it seems great and I'm very happy. ... show more

Over the last four years I have been replacing original outside floods with this product. The installation is straight forward. I use the test mode to set angle and distance then move out of test mode to set timer. Easy to read settings which is helpful for a 61 year old to see without glasses. So far I’ve installed five of these and they continue to work without issue. Will be installing a sixth this week. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the price. ... show more

I bought this fixture to replace an old motion sensing floodlight where the sensor cover was worn out from age (the plastic around the sensor crumbled after touching it.). The installation was easy, but I was a little alarmed about the lack of connecting a ground wire to the case but then realized that the case was plastic and therefore needed no ground connection. The motion sensing is quite sensitive and extends into the street of my 20 foot driveway. I may have to dial back the sensitivity, but for now it lights up when I back my car up in the driveway I was confused regarding the Amazon rating for brightness as it came with no floodlight bulbs, I used my existing PAR 38 LED bulbs from the existing fixture. I liked the adjustment capability where I could position the light to light up both my driveway and front yard. The motion sensing is great where if I step off of my porch at night, the floodlight comes on. This is close to 180 degrees of sensing. One thing that swayed my decision is that this unit can be set to remain on continously by flicking the light switch off and on. I frequently set my light to remain on while I unload my car in the driveway at night. This was a priority for my selection. So far this has worked flawlessly. To reset it to motion sensing mode I only have to flick the light switch off and on again to change modes. Time will tell if the plastic case will last in the long term. But for now I feel that I made the correct decision. ... show more

One of the few floodlights you can buy which let you install your own bulbs. During install I ran into some issues with lack of clarity in the instruction manual. Once I figured them out the install was easy and the unit works great. Watch those distance selections - the 70 foot one works on things you may not really want - like a car driving by. ... show more

First light worked well for 3.5 years, and then died. The detection range was very good. Since I had the big halogen bulbs, I bought a second one to replace it. Easy swap-out since the hardware was the same. The light has no protection from the sun and rain, but I hope this one lasts longer than the first one. ... show more

Got this light installed fairly easily as replacement to another one that stopped working. The light was on constantly and would not turn off or detect motion at all It was daylight when I installed it but I tried going through all the settings, including Test, sensitivity, and time for light to be on. Nothing made a difference. It was pretty much just a floodlight with on/off feature using the wall switch. Instructions didn't offer any other ways to reset or troubleshoot. Checked a bunch of options online to reset (switch on/off a few times, turn off for one minute, turn off breaker) and I also uninstalled/reinstalled to check wiring. Nothing made a difference. Returning this and got another one from local store that was super easy to set up and set up for motion (Defiant brand). ... show more
