It is a very pretty little lamp. If you are expecting it to give off much light, it is more like a night light. I got the Amber colored ones and it gave off a nice soft glow in the living room when I didn't feel like having bright lights on. They are battery operated which is what I wanted. Less cords to deal with. Just be careful not to have them anywhere your pets and knock them around because the cover is glass and it breaks very easily on impact. Stopped working after a few uses. I changed the batteries and the bulb but it no longer turns on. It was such a pretty lamp but unfortunately it is no longer useable. I would find an alternative option if you are looking for something similar.

I like it, I do. Because I love green not because it is a spectacular lamp. But this isn't really intended to be used as a significant source of light. Yes, technically, its a lamp but it doesn't put out much light at all. It makes no difference really except in the few inches around the light itself. I have not had any success figuring out how the timer really operates. I turned it on timer and it never turned off in my work day. There were no instructions so I have no clue when it should turn off after being set to timer. it was NOT worth the $22 I paid for it. It is small, battery operated and overall a very dim light. It does not really function as a lamp and as a decor item, its expensive. My cell phone screen puts out more light. the only appeal it has for me is its green. ... show more
