I love the shape and the light pattern it shows when turned on. It’s so pretty! I love the size and I uploaded a picture of it beside a bottled water. It uses 2 AAA batteries but it didn’t come with batteries. The batteries last a while. I love the shape and build quality, I think k it worths the price. It’s nice and bright and it’s not too heavy. First of all let me say I really love the look of this lamp and the cozy warm light it give off. It is very much an accent piece - it doesn't give off enough light to really be used to light a space, but it looks great lit up sitting on a book shelf or a table. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's battery-powered only. Since it's a light and intended to be used for hours at a time, it would've been nice to have the option to plug it in and just leave it on. Since it runs on only batteries, I have to be mindful of how long it's left on unless I want to constantly be switching them out. ... show more

I like it, I do. Because I love green not because it is a spectacular lamp. But this isn't really intended to be used as a significant source of light. Yes, technically, its a lamp but it doesn't put out much light at all. It makes no difference really except in the few inches around the light itself. I have not had any success figuring out how the timer really operates. I turned it on timer and it never turned off in my work day. There were no instructions so I have no clue when it should turn off after being set to timer. it was NOT worth the $22 I paid for it. It is small, battery operated and overall a very dim light. It does not really function as a lamp and as a decor item, its expensive. My cell phone screen puts out more light. the only appeal it has for me is its green. ... show more
