Let's just say first off, THIS IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESS I'VE EVER OWNED!!! I was a bit skeptical at mattress-in-a-box options as I've been conditioned to believe the best mattresses are sold in stores. After a lot of research, and being forced to do my shopping online (COVID), I'm happy I took the plunge. After doing a lot of research online, I kept finding that Tuft & Needle had arguably the best reviews in the mattress game. After MORE research I found out that they were the first company to actually start the mattress-in-a-box trend, so that gave me confidence in the product itself. My price range at first started out at lower priced options, but as I began to shop I realized the things I absolutely needed - comfort, longevity, and quality. Were going to come at a higher price point. Knowing this, I started to look at the T&N Original as it had a TON of reviews. That got me into the brand and I absolutely fell in love with their messaging and simplicity, straight to the point and a great return policy to back it. If I didn't like it I could return it in 100-days... What's the worst that can happen?? I was actually looking at buying the Mint on their own website since it met all my required specs, but once I saw it on Amazon I pulled the trigger. Pros: - It is very SOFT but also firm if that makes sense, it's soft to the touch when you lay on it and it feels as though your body is molded to the mattress. With that being said, you don't feel like you're sinking into it, but rather very firmly held in your little cocoon. - I typically sleep on my side and back throughout the night, and on other mattresses this has been a problem for me. NOT AT ALL with the Mint. It's been amazing for the last 3 weeks I've owned it. - Someone else in the bed? No problem, my girlfriend can move all she wants throughout the night and I won't feel a thing. I typically consider myself a light sleeper, so this is a HUGE plus here -To add on the above note, you can sleep all the way to the edge of the bed and still feel ample support from the mattress. Never felt like I was "going to fall off the edge" like some reviews have read for foam based mattresses -Quality, the quality of the mattress is unlike any other, its a dark gray and the material is very sturdy feeling. Definitely feel like this will last 10+ years Cons: - Mattress is a bit large, so it didn't fit my bed frame. This is more so my fault, since I didn't really look exactly at the specifications, just make sure that you have a matching bed frame, or just stick with a metal base frame. Shipping: -I noticed that it wasn't Prime eligible when I purchased the mattress, but when I researched the seller I found that it was shipped and sold by Tuft & Needle so I was confident with my purchase. It said it would take 7-10 days to ship, but I got mine in 2 DAYS! All in all, this is a phenomenal mattress and I'm happy with my purchase. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mattress!     • LOVE T&N Mint Matrress! BUY IT!! You won’t regret it!
BUY IT!!! We did research, looked at reviews, comfort, good value, etc and this mattress is so high rated everywhere, winning rating awards! Our T&N Mint (king) mattress was comfortable from the first day!! There’s no “breaking in period”. There’s great side support on the edges too for when you sit on the edge of the bed. I just don’t feel like I’m sitting on the edge of a foam mattress. It’s not something that looks like sinking memory foam with body outline. It exceeded expectations!! It’s easy to set up, we just watched the short video to make it even easier. Seriously, it’s so easy, five minutes. The T&N tag should face the bottom of your bed. I don’t sleep hot on this mattress either, just always comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I prefer softer beds, my husband sleeps on his back and prefers firmer beds. We both love it! It’s a fantastic value, looks great, wonderful cover on it. The cover helps with more cool sleep and is antimicrobial too! You sleep at a comfortable temp. It’s a pretty mattress. We had it delivered to our front door, (remember to put this in “delivery instructions” area) but there are many different delivery options, even with prime. (I don’t want people inside.) Just know the box is heavy, but has handle holes, easy size. (Check what delivery/set up works for you.) My husband and son got the box upstairs quickly. We bought it during Amazon Prime Days and saved even more. (We bought a new T&N Mint Mattress for our son too!) We ordered these after seeing our daughter’s T&N Original Mattress. I sat on the edge of her bed and it passed the test, so I was sold!! It’s THE most comfortable bed!!!!! You won’t regret buying it!! We’re really happy with our purchases! ... show more

The mattress expanded to almost full size within a couple of hours. Certainly good enough to sleep on. It seems much softer than my prior conventional coil spring mattress but there is even pressure and support support for my back. I'm definitely sleeping better. My only complaint which is the same as some others is that the mattress retains heat. I end up throwing off covers after an hour. They claim to have carbon fibers that keep it cool. I have spent weeks reviewing every type and brand of mattress. Researching comfort, firmness, I checked for qaulity standards as I wanted a mattress that had no harmful materials , gases or fiberglass. And The Tuft & Needle certifications are (certiPur-US, Green Guard Gold). My Tuft & Needle Mint Mattress arrived as scheduled on Monday June 14 2021. Amazon Delivery was great , Box was in good condition and delivery men brought inside by door. Setting up the mattress was easy with help of my daughter and son they opened the box and layerd the rolled mattress on bed frame. Just peeled off the first two layers of plastic and carefully cut the vacuum sealed plastic and mattress started instantly inflating before our eyes. There was no chemical smells, The cover on the mattress is good quality and nice and soft. I Let the mattress set for a full 72 hours before laying on it which will be tonight Thursday June 17, 2021. So I will have to come back and update my review on how It sleeps. Update June 27, 2021 So i slept on this mattresz for 10 days now. I would say mattress is medium firm. I laid on the edge and no sagging doesn't feel like your going to fall off. And I slept in the middle no sagging. Now I still wake up about in the middle of the night with back pain but I fall back to sleep and when I wake up I no back pain. I will update again in a couple of weeks. ... show more
