I almost took off a star for the strings. The strings are awful. But I didn't dock the star because every instrument I've ever bought has come with subpar strings, so it's almost expected at this point. Very well made, nice on the eyes, and on the ears once you've changed the strings. Electronics also worked, and it comes with a battery installed - considering that this one of those small disk-shaped batteries that people don't usually have on-hand, this was appreciated. ... show more

    • Great Ukulele. But I had to order it twice to get a good one.
I ordered this ukulele twice because the first time it arrived, the tuner/preamp control box had fallen out of place and was clunking around inside the ukulele upon arrival. It was in good shape otherwise, and the box wasn't damaged. Returned it to Amazon with free shipping. Ended up purchasing through Luna directly, as price was the same, and that way I felt more confident about getting one that didn't have any issues. Since then, I've had absolutely no problems with my ukulele (aside from playing it so much I had to buy new strings -- Aquila with Low G is my preference). ... show more

I bought this uke, and within a week the tuner went out. I returned it for an exact replacement and within a week again, the same issue. Bought this used from Amazon Warehouse at a substantial discount. It does have some marring but it does not affect the sound or really the look. The Uke overall is a great instrument and the head honchess is very pleased.
