Sorry for the rough look of the kitchen in the pictures. We are not done updating the kitchen and it looks a bit of a fright. Needed a good door between the kitchen and the utility/sewing room as we are adopting a couple of kittens later this year. Kittens and sewing rooms don't mix. But to the point: the bolts for the door handle that came with the kit were not long enough to go through and thread the nuts. My husband purchased some from Menards. There was no handle provided for the other side of the door. So my husband found a small cabinet handle he installed there. Also the instructions provided for measuring space between the door and the glide rail were slightly off. It did not leave enough room below the door to fit the floor guide. He has to grind it down a bit. So you may want to add just a teensy tiny little bit to that measurement. Assembly was pretty challenging. One tip was that to insert the screws in the upper bit, put the whole affair on the floor with the unattached bit resting on a table or something. Then put your body weight into the screw driver. The pilot holes (actually the shape of the holes provided in the PVC boards) are VERY tight. You will never get it done with a hand screw driver. Overall very happy. It's good looking and you really have to walk up to it and touch it to perceive that it is not wood. I like that it is washable. Though in the final configuration the stove will be moved leftward quite a bit, I will be dealing with a little cooking spatter in the interim. It will be nice to easily wipe it off.
