When I first received this item it was missing screws and had damage, but the seller was quick to reply and replace the items missing. Originally bought this just for our vinyls to go on. But the vinyls immediately started falling off where our books sits at to keep them from falling. There was also some noticeable damages.

Got this for my son who just moved into a new apartment. He seems to have a book hoarding issue so we need to get creative with his book storage. Generally I’m not a fan of traditional corner shelves, in my opinion they downgrade a room. This shelf is very stylish and sized in such a way it can fit in a pretty small space, while still holding a lot of books. He has a small almost wasted space this fit into perfectly without being intrusive. I can’t imagine we could get anything else in there. At the same time it really adds a nice design element. I purchased the 5 shelf corner bookcase. I really like it! The color and finish was better than I was expecting. It is completely the size and dimensions as advertised. It fits the corner of my study perfectly! As with any tall narrow shelving unit, it is a little wobbly, but you can adjust the leveling with the screw on feet. It also comes with 4 different predrilled holes on the top so you can anchor it to the wall, which anyone with cats and kids would definitely do! All hardware was correctly provided and no pieces were cracked or scratched. It did take a minute to figure out how to put it together, but it didn't take that long and you just need to take your time to understand how the pieces all fit together. ... show more

I bought this bookshelf for my boys' room - I wanted something compact that fit in the corner & this is that. I debated the height & shelf number & I went with 3 shelves & it's the perfect height/size for my elementary schooler & preschooler. I mainly use it for picture books from the library & it works but I think it's designed better for chapter books ... the picture books look a little awkward & the longer ones fall off the edge if they aren't upright. But it works - and it'll work better when they are older & not reading large books. Overall happy with it & I'm posting this coz I was curious if it would work for kids books & it does. You can fit about 25 picture books per shelf. Also, happy with how sturdy it is & that its hard wood so that's nice. The stain looks OK but def not rich, it doesn't look like money. This is bamboo, so it’s solid wood. I had no trouble putting this together by myself with an Allen wrench and about a half an hour. Looks nice in my guest room. Good purchase!
