This steam room gets hot really quick. From the graph you can see, It took ~ 6-7min to heat up. The temperature got as high as 112'F. This is the temperature INSIDE the steam room (the temp/humidity sensor can be seen hanging above the chair). When the manufacturer claims 149'F, that is the heater inside the boiler! Anything above 105'F in the steam room feels good, it will never reach 149'F inside. Note: running at full power caused my surge protector breaker to trip multiple times. I believe there is a safety feature that turns the heat down around 112'F and this change in power is what was tripping the surge protector. I was only able to get it above 112'F by resetting the breaker and heating it up again. I got it to 117'F before the surge protector tripped again. This is a bit of an annoyance as the surge protector kept tripping. I will update this review if I find a work-around. Pros: - Very Large water pot.... enough water for ~3 sessions - Powerful steamer... gets hot and humid very quickly 6-7min - comes with a small chair - tall enough to stand in (at 5'9" my head is against the ceiling) - remote is included - Aromatherapy can be added to the steam pot - well insulated Cons - no pockets on tent (there are internal bars where a pocket could be attached). - surge protector keeps tripping Note: you need a way to dehumidify the area if this is used indoors. The tent does not have any exhaust vents. I place a dehumidifier next to the tent after use to prevent mold/mildew issues indoors. The instruction booklet is for several different models. The steamer lid started breaking down after a month and has now become cracked all over making it hard for the steam to go through the tube. Also you can’t contact the seller for warranty replacement. Amazon can’t find their info either.

Working sauna. But the medicine box and pipe connectors are made of plastic . Tip: Please add an stainless steel medicine box and pipe connectors. Plastic in high heat will not last and is probably not healthy to inhale .

The media could not be loaded. So it was easy to set up with just one person but I would suggest at least two or three people just to make it a little more easier. The instructions are simple but the diagram is kind of hard to see but it's pretty self-explanatory putting it together. I got it done myself in less than 30 minutes. The steamer is easy to operate but when the setting is past 10 it will steam up quickly and a lot so it may be overwhelming. I would suggest starting off at a low setting and increase as you go and also not to be in the summer for more than 15 minutes at a time unless you're used to the sauna environment. I would also suggest that if this is your first son or something experience that you Google Sauna 101. It was very informative and I had a great first experience. Easy to assemble. This gets hot and causes me to really sweat. Then getting a shower makes my body feel great. I love the saunas and since I can't have one at home this serves its purpose in the meantime. I think it is priced accordingly at 289.99 got the convenience of having something similar to a sauna at home. ... show more

Update 12/3/23 - We were initially using the sauna on the back patio and then soon realized that the North/South wind was too strong and decided to move it in to the garage. It worked perfectly throughout the winter and early spring and then the sauna was cleaned and stored for the summer months. When we unpacked it and set it back up for the fall/winter, it worked well for November, but began blowing the GFCI plug a few days ago. We would reset the outlet and then after a couple of tries, it would run as intended. This morning, it ran as intended for about 10 minutes and then shut off...did not trip the GFCI, just stopped working. We unplugged for a couple of hours to see if it just needed to reset itself. No luck. I'm guessing it was a wiring issue internally. While this was a great concept, it didn't last very long for the price. We'll try looking at other concepts. Pros: easy setup, excellent heating, small footprint Cons: the instructions are not ideal. You will want to build the frame inside the canvas cover, paying attention to what side the zipper entrance is on, as the base will need to be adjusted accordingly. As you can see, we have this set up on our patio, in the corner to where it’s not noticeable from inside. Overall, I’m very pleased with the sauna. ... show more
